Maybe that Denver defense isn't as horrendous as everyone said it was. At least not at home.

Denver has given up 45 points in their last three games. They're not as bad as they started the season.

After a 5-0 start, a 3 game losing streak for SF was not on my bingo card.

Bengals are no joke.  That might be the team to beat.

It was what, 4 weeks ago so many were saying SF was going to run away with it?  Long season.  They'll snap out of it.

The league is still very volatile.  Teams figuring things out, good and bad.  We won't have a true picture until after Thanksgiving.

Except for the Packers and Jordan love.

He had a 3rd INT but a roughing the passer call negated it. He lost a fumble on the next play. He was fortunate to start his career with a strong supporting cast.

Kark out with an AR.  All the talking heads that suggested NYJ should trade for Cousins after AR went down. That would have just been twilight zone stuff.

WK18: CHI vs. GB

Loser gets top pick in the draft.  Even if it's not RD01-01, it could very well be for a spot that gets you the second or third QB off the board.  What do you do?  What if both teams are trying to tank for that spot? 

Runner up: GB also plays CAR late in the season.

Losing franchises play to lose.  That would be a huge disappointment if the Packers coached and players played to tank.

And with that, Chicago jumps from 5 to 3, and Carolina falls to number 2 behind Arizona, and teh Chargers drop from 8 to 14.
