Some sloppy play by both teams. Bucky leaving points at the line. Maryland is 8-0. They are pretty good. It's also the first game where the Terps trailed by more than 3 points, in a game and the first game where the Terps trailed at halftime.

Really solid win against a decent Maryland team. The second half was a bit concerning as the Terps turned up the pressure and adjusted but they held on and got the W.
Hepburn with another good offensive game which was needed because Wahl had a forgettable evening. Essigan also stepped up and you have to like his confidence. If he continues to develop and get stronger he could become an elite scorer.
The shooting of this team seems to be improved over last year but I do wonder if the Badgers are sneaking up on some teams much like the earlier part of last season when Davis burst onto the scene. Teams will review tape and game plan for the Badgers a little better I think going into conference play. It’ll be interesting to see how Gard responds and adjusts.
Free throws - ugh. At some point that will cost you a game or two if they don’t clean it up.
