someone needs to get the memo to Jackson that it is OK to pass the ball in the closing moments of a half.  He may have got a little drunk on his own press on last second shot heroics. 

 

If the shot is there, by all means.  But man has he been forcing those. 

 

Another year practicing with Bronson, guy will start to be ready for those passes.  He is fun to watch with the ball in his hand. 

Pretty good 1/2.  Badgers  did a much better job of walling off the paint on drives.  Bo got the bench involved early with Hayes, Koenig and Dukan all seeing some time on the floor. Looking forward to more of the same in the second half.  Need a little better outside shooting. O rebounds were good. to see.

Dukan is an interesting case, because he might have the prettiest shot form on the team and the most awkward "everything else" in basketball. 

They have to continue to get Koenig minutes.   He is the younger guy but Jackson drives me absolutely crazy. 

Hayes getting some quality minutes today as well

Offensive execution in the last 6 minutes has been atrocious

Let's see if they can win this one because other than Hayes the Badgers O has been invisible

Pathetic but predictable loss

You miss FTs and run stupid plays on offense and this is what you get

As hard as it it to believe this team could actually find themselves battling to make the tournament

Time to put Jackson on the bench. Bo should have left Kamminsky in and put Jackson on the bench.  You just  knew he would try to drive, get in trouble and then pass it out for a long shot by a guy who is not shooting very good right now.  If a desperation 3 is your best chance at least set it up so Brust is shooting the 3.

Where have all the shooters gone??? You cannot keep missing good looks. They were better down the stretch defensively, but Jackson committed the cardinal sun of close out basketball- dribble down to 1 sec and set up a teammate who's guarded and 23 feet from the basket.

I am worried about Decker. His confidence seems shot. He's young, but man- he gets a guy that can stay with him defensively and he disappears. You have to just play harder- not crawl into a hole. Do the little things.

Love Hayes' confidence. Really disappointed though... They're teetering. Bo need to get these guys playing harder. It's the Big Ten, ladies... No nights/days off.

Jackson is approaching AJ Hawk status for me.  The guys is a human momentum eater.  The ball in his hands at the end of halves has been far, far to easy for other teams to defend. 

3-17 from 3.  19-29 from the free throw line.  Down the stretch, fouling Bucky was the right move to win. 

They went totally passive the last 6 minutes of the game and then they choked at the line.   Not a sign of a very good or confident team right now. 

Love the AJ comparison to Jackson.  He has quickly become my least favorite Badger of all time and that's saying a lot.

    Need I say more.  D*mn.  and at the Kohl Center.  

As crappy as this is to say, as Jackson goes, so will the offense. He's their only reliable ball handler. Applying is going to murder the kid...

I don't want his to sit, I don't want Gasser to be the primary ball handler. 

 

I want Bronson to play more.  I want some other option or way of doing business at the end of halves than the Trae show. 

 

I want him to be pulled when he throws a pass to nowhere or has a tantrum on the court for a foul he got when he head wasn't on strait. 

I really don't understand what could have been going through Jackson's mind as he dribbled out the clock to end the game. They needed a 2 point bucket.

I think Jackson thinks he can always be a hero but it just ain't happening any longer.

In the latest Ap Poll the Badgers drop to 26, O$U is 27.  In the Coaches Badgers are still #20.  And Beller has them a 7 seed in the South vs. North Carolina. The upper part of that bracket is #2 seed Kansas vs. Weber State.
