When I spoke with Goodell he mentioned if they did go to 18 reg season games, the rosters would most likely be expanded and potentially bringing players back from IR allowed. Maybe have a 4 game or 8 game IR list.

He asked me if I was a coach when I suggested expanding the rosters Smiler

Really though? Why couldn't we do this anyway with the 16 game season?

While of course I want the Packers to win each and every game, I'm just as thrilled when are key guys make it through a game relatively unscathed.

In an 18 game season, nothing would be more sickening than to see a blue chip player blow a knee in the 17th game where your team is playoff bound or worse not only playoff bound but essentially their seeding is set.

This game is getting faster and faster. Nearly 300 lb players are clocking 40 times unheard of as recently as the '90's. I'm not saying I want to pussify the game but 16 games is plenty for me. And I'm all for dumping 2 preseason games as well. Seeing players get hurt in those games is just as sick.

"Hahh, Hahhh, Hahhh.....No Roger, I do have a masters in common sense from STFU though"

Based on the majority of comments on most message boards I'm sure he was happy to answer an informed question.

Still waiting for your 2012 NFL draft report, and you had more stuff happen this last one than usual.

Please do so before you get to the ATL, or you're picking up the tab @ Bones steakhouse next month.
