I don't believe I'd ever seem the NFL Films version of this game---it was only uploaded to You Tube last year. This is a marvelous 25 minutes of your time. Some observations:

-Mud

-Classy Packer fans tossed a lot of snowballs

-Jim Brown was great, Lou Groza was fat.

-Coaches could smoke on the sidelines.

-First down markers were flags stuck in the ground and not a chain gang.

-Herb Adderley and Willie Wood look like they could play in 2020---the others, not so much.

-So many great Packer names....this brought 'em all back for a few minutes.

I remember this game and could not sit still while it was in progress.  This game had some of the same elements that todays games have.  Refs throwing flags the fans don't agree with.  There was no question on the roughing the kicker penalty.  Plays that were almost made by both sides.  Things that just happen for no discernable reason - like Ryan's stumbling before he could get the first down.  Etc.

One thing I noticed this time was Hornung came out in the second half with a clean jersey on.  I did not notice if that was true for other players.
