1982 playoffs vs Cards

For my first 15 years of watching the Pack, that was the only playoff win I got to see.

I think at least 5 starters from the '82 offense start on the '12 team. Lofton is a given. McCarren starts at Center, Coffman starts at TE, and the RB/FB tandem of Ivery and Ellis starts over last year's mishmosh in the backfield.

Gary Lewis was amazing on kick defense.

Not technically offense, but give me Stenerud at kicker. Heck, I'd take Stenerud over Crosby today and Jan must be pushing 70!

I saw Coffman shortarm at least 2 passes over the middle on the part I watched. Would be a good competition with Finley.

That was a fun game! My dad took my brother and I. Cold as hell, still lots of snow in the stands. In the 4th quarter, for whatever reason, some Cards decided to respond back to heckling they were receiving from Packers fans, and received a steady barage of snow balls from fans behind the bench for the rest of the game.
