Here we go. SF.
Nice win!

Amazingly, I expect a few of the Vikings fans I know to put an asterisk on this one because they didn't have Ponder. Think about that....Ponder.

Don't look now, but Aaron Rodgers and the Packers just won a playoff game at home.
Yes, but did he come from behind?

That's exactly what they're going to do. I'm going to turn off the TV and go to bed with my laptop. I'll just lie there listening to KFAN until I fall asleep.... I can't bear to turn it off; it's the sweetest music in the world.
No QB worth his salt would sit out a playoff game. Think Brady, Manning, Favre would have missed a playoff game? Hell NO. They'd have at least gone out there.
I'm just glad Ponder will be the Viking QB for a few more years.
This was a Viking reporter tweet before the game.

Let me start the whine line now...

REFS SCREWED US!
MM had a bad cough in his presser. Maybe he's the latest to catch the flu bug in GB
He's only the coach. As if he matters.
Love you all!

I'm trying to figure out precisely how drunk Tavis Smiley is.

How about "pretty"?
In a way aren't you glad this game is over?
Yes Brother. Over. Bag ops...
Just got back from the game with my 15 year old nephew. Great experience, but I couldn't believe how many wasted 20 somethings were stumbling around in the stands, most of them Viking fans.
The most entertaining part was the Viking fan, complete with a Mexican wrestling mask, blowing on his makeshift vuvuzela for a full minute after the Vikings scored their lone touchdown. He was trying to do the horn thing. And the crowd chanting '*******' at him as he soaked it all in. Classic.

WHY DO YOU EVEN PONDER PASSING?
Nope, I was working with my viking fan co-workers...it was one fun night!!..they were SO confident!!!quote:Originally posted by Orlando Wolf:

I am getting a good laugh this morning reading the Viking boards. I love this comment from a Viking fan:
"The Kings of Choking. It's the only thing they have done consistently in their existence."

Love @TJLang70. Always honest. Me: "You legal on the TD?" Lang: "Uh, no. No, no. He must've thought I was a tight end. I'm so athletic."
I keep reading how CM lucked his way into his first sack when Webb tripped over him. I couldn't see it clearly from the stands and watched the game this morning. It looked to me that CM intentionally dove behind Webb to make the play. He wasn't blocked to the ground and it didn't look like he slipped either.
I don't know, I think CMIII got lucky there and his reaction supports it. Still, when you get around the QB and make him move around, good things happen for the defense.

Webb is really athletic and can throw down the field. He isn't the most accurate,
Yes. He can throw the ball down the field 20 yards over the receivers head.

Also, on the Kuhn TD pass, I thought Sitton absolutely tackled a DLiman.
NFL video
Must be the NFL wants the Packers to win the SB.
Legal play by Sitton. Blocking down on D-Lineman, then holds his arms up as he rides him to the ground. No holding, great play by Sitton.
NFL wants SF to win this year to help fill their new stadium. Watch & see.

No offense but that stadium would be full no matter what kind of season they had or have going. The Pack is a much more marquee team with marquee players so if we want to venture down conspiracy road I would guess the Pack would get a call or two.
Once again the gameday thread is pure comedy.
