Here's an article from National Football Post talking about the immense yardage the 2013 Broncos defense is giving up and the lopsidedness of their team. Many similarities to the 2011 Packers squad that lit up scoreboards across the country while also giving up huge chunks on defense. Apparently Its the nature of the beast, opponents have to score like crazy to keep up and the end results will likely be the same. Record setting offense followed by... one and done in the playoffs

I can agree with that.  I actually picked the Colts in the game last weekend as I thought they would be able to exploit that sorry Denver defense and do just enough to slow Manning down.

Denver really messed up losing Dumerville in the off-season.  Von Miller is good, but he needed that threat from the opposite side to be at his best.   It isn't going to help Miller that he missed as much of the season as he has due to suspension either.

If Denver's D was marginal I'd still pick them for the SB. The AFC is pretty weak. I'm not at all sold on KC. But Denver's D is really bad. Bailey is a shadow of what he used to be but he's a huge upgrade over option B.

I can see Denver getting the 1 seed but Manning isn't putting up 35 per game in Denver in January. And maybe it's just me but more than a few of his throws in Indy were coming out like wounded ducks. Not a good sign.

I don't see things ending well for Denver.
