I just got a call last night...invited to go to game with friend and his wife. I turned it down, because it's going to be cold and snowy...which wouldn't be so bad normally, but with Rodgers out, and this defense laying turds every week, I just didn't feel the need to be there in person.
I've literally turned into a fairweather fan.
Found on the internet:
My explanationâĶ They removed Lattimore from ILB and put Jones back in.
I understand that isnât the only reason but I did some research and look at these numbers.
In the 3 games that Lattimore played, they gave up an average of 80.33 rushing yards per game. They gave up a average of 3.7 yards per rush.
In the 5 games that Jones has come back to play, they gave up an average of 185.2 rushing yards per game. They gave up an average of 5 yards per rush.
That was startling to me. I know thatâs not the only reason, and stats can be misleading at times. But that really jumps out to me.
JONES needs to go! It's Desmond Bishop all over again.
Again another Packer fan I wish lived through the 70's and 80's. This year would be one of the better ones for the Packers of that era.
Level of Packers success:
1) Step back, step way back here comes the Pack.
2) Step Back here comes the Pack.
3) The Pack will be back.
4) Please Pack come Back.
5) Pack why won't you come back?
6) I am a Viking Fan. (I heard this one in the mid 70's a lot)
This team is current at the 3 level on the Pack meter. You do not want to live through level 6.

Current Temperature: 5° F
Predicted High: 20°F
1-2 inches of snow
If the Packers can get ahead early, I could see the Falcons having an attitude more like Fond du Arrigo had last night/this morning and the game is over quickly. Unfortunately, "If" is such a big word for having only two letters.
I'll be cheering from the comforts of my home.
I was at one other Packer Falcons game...snow and very cold...2002 wild card round. I've already paid my dues.
EDS is active
That is very surprising
many at ESPN are picking the combo of the Pack to win and Det and Chi to lose
would at least make things fun down the stretch
The biggest factor is whether the Falcons have completely mailed it in
Newhouse inactive. Have we finally seen the last of him on game day?
Wilde said on Miller Lite show that Newhouse was ill. Let's just hope EDS holds up.
meanwhile in philly (btw Nick Foles has never played in the snow)...

Line just jumped to Packers -20.

Clap?

Serves Newhouse right. His play has been making me ill for weeks.
I don't know why any of you are expecting this game to be any different than the last 5 games.
can we all agree to just not be a bunch of whiney pussies today? This season as been bad enough, I don't want to see you people pissing your pants and throwing **** at the wall. just watch the game and know that there's nothing you can do about it.
reggie bush fell in warmups may have aggravated his calf. this according to a sideline reporter.
@ttwentyman: 97.1 sideline reporter @ajortiz3 said Bush may've aggravated calf. Slipped, slammed helmet down, was surrounded by trainers.
Lions will fold in Philly. Packers win. Only1/2 game back at the end of the day.

With Newhouse inactive, looks like Lane will start in his place, no? I don't think they'll start Sherrod, but who knows (other than the coaches).
I don't like that CJ Wilson and Jerel Worthy are both, once again, inactive. I think the DLs are worn down, and having either (both) of them out of the roatation is not good. I guess getting Jolly back helps, but I thought CW and JW would be some fresh legs late in the season.
Unfortunately, Worthy looked like a sled in his one game back. I don't think he's ready.

I'm making no promises.

TT screwed up by not signing Reggie Bush, he's Packer People!

With EDS and Barclay both active, why would Newhouse be starting?
we gotta watch Matt Flynn again today. I'd rather see Kuhn in the wildcat.
Packers are 3.5 point favorites.

Yup, then you got old. Man up, man. Ooh, I think I need to turn up the thermostat. Chilly!
It's whiney pussy or ornaments on the tree.
Wait...... this seems similar.

Good point! Forgot the EDS was in the lineup.
Love this field!!!
Jolly trying to pull his groin.
Have to wonder how long EDS will last though. I'd guess would be Lang to C and Taylor to RG if EDS goes down.
As someone living in central FL, I have to say it looks pretty damn cold at Lambeau
Raji yet to get his uniform dirty.
C'mon D!!!! FFS!
Guess that counts as a stop?
We're not the only team that throws long on 3rd and 2.

C'mon dude. It's 66 in Jax right now---reaching for a sweater-vest as I type this.
