Very true. The offense  needed to punch it with first and goal.

Totally, but Ted Thompson intentionally made it impossible for them to do so. I can only hope that he is fired mid-game.

I have no idea what you're babbling about.

You better get on it Chauncey.  I'll post it again.

So TT would have to trade away the Packers draft when they still had Favre under center to verify his GM abilities?  Answer the question ****nut.

Calm down junior, I fear for your keyboard.

Nah, he didn't. Nice try though.

The question is far from nonsensical.  Your "facts" are complete fallacy in every sense of the word.  I put forward a question that you won't answer, which makes you a intellectually dishonest coward.

Favre is under center.  TT would have to trade away the entire draft for Rodgers to show he's a legitimate GM?  Answer the ****ing question.

Considering the way Favre acted when Rodgers was drafted I would say it takes a set of stones to take Rodgers when you have a guy like Favre under center.  How many teams draft QBs that high because they have a gapping hole at the position instead of a HOF QB?

So TT's foresight is somehow a fault?  You are a ****ing idiot.

Answer the question.

The question is nonsensical. Facts are facts, Rodgers fell to TT. Without Rodgers what is TT's legacy?

As stated above, TT didn't have to draft AR.  There were other needs on offense--WR and RB--that could have been addressed instead of drafting a 1st rounder who would not play for several years.

I know your TT haters can't get over the fact that he has assembled a team that is always in contention, won a Super Bowl, and is considered one of the top 5 teams in the NFL.

It's a schizo world you live in----TT was "gifted" AR but hasn't done anything to assemble a line to protect his "gift"--despite 2 1st round picks spent recently on protecting him.

Explain to me how trading up would cost the entire draft? Remember this was as Rodgers was falling. So if TT really believed Rodgers was Favre's heir he only needed to trade up a few picks to ensure nabbing him. But TT sat pat. His legacy is built on inertia.

What would TT's legacy in Green Bay be without Rodgers having fallen to him?

I'm still trying to figure out how TT didn't draft Rodgers.  23 other teams passed on him.  Why didn't they see the future?  Why didn't they pick a surefire winner?   Yet, TT takes him where he's available WITHOUT trading away picks with a HOF QB under center already and that makes him lucky?  If that's the equation every great player is "lucky" to drop to their respective teams.

You work in a world of complete and epic fallacy to fulfill  a gaping void in your own intellect and self esteem.

Don't look at the other players that TT has brought in, like Matthews who TT did trade up for and was right 100%.  What if Rodgers and Smith flipped?  You firmly believe Rodgers wouldn't turn into David Carr?  Or do you think the whole of the team and the coaching staff brought in by TT made the environment that would let all these players develop into a Superbowl team?  Of course you don't because you are myopic and simple.
