Sunny and 54 for start of practice this morning. Actually very pleasant with little wind.

Biggest camp crowd yet. Stands are full. Fans lined up several deep along north side of field. Estimated attendance: 2000

Beautiful morning in Green Bay! The fans are awaiting the start of practice.

first practice in pads in 30 min. As Mike McCarthy says: "That’s what training camp is for. It’s about padded practices." Amen!!

Give credit to Derek Sherrod. Hasn't practiced fully in a 1 1/2 years with the leg but never have I not seen him signing autographs at TC

Their bikes were too small, so Clay just stopped to say hello to these triplets in 52 jerseys.

Cloudy skies hurting photos here at Nitschke but Charles Johnson at practice, not in pads

special teamers watching kickoff coverage walk through

Morning practice looms for , , & .

Full pads today. QB Aaron Rodgers on the move early in practice.

Jerel Worthy (torn ACL) watches on during d-line individual work

Fun to watch the D-line do interception drill. They'd tuck the ball away if they could but there's nowhere to tuck it.

Ok, now some team action.

First play, James Jones leaps over Sam Shields on a fade for a long catch.

James Jones with the best catch of camp so far up the left sideline. Plucked the ball above Sam Shields' head up left sideline.

1st two team plays show difference between pads/non padded practice. Jones with a great catch over Shields and Bostick ran over a defender

Per , Brandon Bostick leveled a defender after catch on second play of team period.

Rookie Sam Barrington absolutely drills Jeremy Ross and McCarthy lashes out at him. Part of the injury emphasis you could say...

McCarthy not happy that LB Sam Barrington treating this as full tackling drill. It's not.

James Nixon muffed his first KOR attempt.

James Nixon with some nerves early on, dropping a kickoff return. That was his natural spot at Temple

Eddie Lacy is working as the fullback in place of Kuhn now on kickoffs. Johnathan Franklin was the returner.

D-linemen at work.

QB 1 working on his check downs with his back field

Fundamentals being stressed at practice today. Urgency increases in pads:

First shoving match: Raji vs. Van Roten.

Newhouse blocked down on Jolly and buried him.

Bad drop by Randall Cobb in full team segment. In the bread basket.

About the only problem Cobb had last season was drops and he just biffed one on a deep out.

RB Eddie Lacy looks a spiral in at practice.

Nate Palmer a nice move to sack Harrell.

Coleman rolls out of pocket to buy time, finds Ross open downfield. Coleman has more field presence than last year.

Defense getting a lot of pressure on Harrell. Second-string OL typically makes life tough on backup quarterbacks around here.

Lattimore with another big hit. This time on Alex Green in team run.

Jamari Lattimore just blew up Alex Green and then let the offensive sideline know about it.

Lattimore down, being attended to by trainers.

Tyrone Walker hears footsteps, drops Rodgers pass across middle. One of the guys who stood out without pads.

Lattimore is up and has his helmet in hand but hasn't gone back in yet.

Walker catches next pass on slant after drop. Leads to scuffle btwn offense and defense as he finished play

First training camp scrum at 10 a.m. On the dot. Nothing major.

Someone drilled Franklin a little harder than necessary and it created a big skirmish. Maybe the O should actually block for him.

Seeing Jerron McMillian covering receivers in the slot. Just broke up a Harrell drag to Randall Cobb. Wanted the pick.

Jerron McMillian just dropped a sure interception. Nice play bad hands.

Lattimore is kneeling on sidelines. Appears to be OK.

Coleman to Myles White deep. Pass slightly under thrown, but Jarrett Bush gets beat anyway.

Graham Harrell misses a wide, wide open Tyrone Walker on a post deep. Settled underneath and threw incomplete.

Jones n Raji inside rushers in No. 1 nickel n dime

Two nice reps by Mike Daniels in the 1 on 1 pass rush drill. Collapsed the pocket vs. EDS and beat rookie Lane Taylor.

Bakhtiari and Barclay had good 1 on 1 sessions. Datone Jones did, too, but mostly against scrubs.

Datone jones' first 1on1 pass rush period pretty good.,didn't beat land first rep but got good push, later smoked gerhart n beat Datko

Barclay won all 4 of his reps,4 at RT, 1 at center

In 7 on 7, Jordy Nelson making a lot of catches.

First chance to see Tavecchio kickoff. Was a low one (3.28 hang time) that landed 1 yard into the end zone. Very returnable.

Masthay actually taking the second reps kicking off. They could use him if they went with Tavecchio as their FG/PAT guy.

Crosby with a little more leg than Tavecchio on KO but Masthay has plenty of leg too

Always odd to see Green Bay put its best players on ST. This time seeing Morgan Burnett on the kickoff team.

Finley came up limping.

Andy Mulumba stuffs Cobb on a quick pitch out of the backfield, prompting Kevin Greene to break out in dance.

Finley's ok.

James Nixon picks off Rodgers, who looks stunned.

James Nixon picks off Aaron Rodgers and is off to the races.

Nixon has two picks this camp I think.

Lacy hasn't had a lot of running room today. Got bottled up again in team.

Johnny Jolly and Andrew Datko get into it and another scrum breaks out.

Another big scrum following Ross fumble.

Jolly and someone going at it. And then Sitton starts jawing with defensive sideline.

Walking back, Josh Sitton points to the DBs and voices his displeasure. McMillian jaws back at him.

Datone Jones swims right by Datko at LG and LT on eventual pass to Cobb

Only one padded practice but Datone Jones has been impactful today

Coleman up n down at QB. Has made some playa outside pocket but also a couple throws behind receivers from pocket

2-minute. Nice toss from Rodgers to Cobb down middle. Then Franklin leaps over pile for nice gain.

Franklin makes a couple nice runs in no huddle.

Rodgers to Ross on Nixon and then Rodgers to Boykin on corner fade for TD.

Rodgers hits pass to leaping Boykin over Nixon for the TD to end no huddle

Rodger. Boykin. Touchdown. Practice ends after 2 hours, 27 minutes.

2 hour, 27 min practice ends with hauling in a 10 yard fade from Rodgers for a TD. Before that, two big 3rd down conversions

practice is over.

Vines:

Skies clearing here at Nitschke Field

GM Ted Thompson walking. Who says my Vine vids are useless?

Behind the jugs machine look at the running back group

Your first look at Eddie Lacy and Johnathan Franklin in pads. At the jugs machine...

Running backs catching balls off the machine.

Starks, Lacy go through RB ball drills at practice.

Kevin Greene and his outside backers go through ball drills

And the vets they're challenging --- James Starks and Alex Green...

More great video: jogs with .

Mike Trgovac happy with Jolly in this drill. Working on different techniques along the line...

It's clear Jolly still knows how to play the position. It's just a matter of seeing if his body still has life in it.

Rookie Datone Jones in the same drill...

Running through the gauntlet in ball security drill.

ball security drills. You know you want to watch.

More drills forcing fumbles in Green Bay. An emphasis through the spring...

Myles White and Jake Stoneburner couldn't get through the gauntlet without fumbling.

Rookie Josh Boyd during team tackling drill...

QBs/TEs. A look at second-year tight end Brandon Bostick from afar:

QB Aaron Rodgers hands off to RB Johnathan Franklin.

RB Eddie Lacy chips a tackling dummy, catches a pass.

D-line fundamental work.

Eddie Lacy takes a shot from Datone Jones during combo-blocking drill.

Alex Green bounces a run to the outside in what's called a combo drill.

Johnathan Franklin in the same drill. Also OLB coach Kevin Greene already in pure form.

Brad Jones fills the hole at practice.

Dietrich-Smith and Sitton open up a hole...

Terrell Manning getting inside to stuff Eddie Lacy

Brad Jones breaks up a pass to Williams in 7 on 7....

Daniels v. ED'S, Raji vs. Sitton in 1-on-1s.

Aaron Rodgers to Finley...

Bakhtiari with a nice job on Matthews.

1 on 1 pass rush. Bulaga, Bakhtiari both win over Matthews.

Graham Harrell to Jordy Nelson in 7 on 7...

Coleman to Walker....

Underthrown ball by Coleman batted away by Rob Francois.

Quick question - how are you getting the tweets to come in on the board?  I try using the embed script from twitter, and it just defaults to HTML.  I copy/paste, and the words are there but not the twitter UI.

I'm sure I'm missing something obvious...

I'll leave this as a general guide for anyone who needs help.  Tried to make it as simple as possible in case there's anyone who has limited knowledge about computers.

To get the embed code from twitter:

1. click the ***More button located at  the bottom right of the desired tweet

2. select "Embed Tweet"

3. copy the code:

     1. put the mouse arrow over the highlighted code

     2. click the right button on the mouse

     3. select 'copy'

Next, Using the forum reply form on timesfour:

1. click the 'HTML' button located all the way to the right (a new window will open)

2. paste the embed code from twitter

click the right button on the mouse

          select 'paste'

     3. click update on the lower left

There's also some superfluous code that starts with <script> at the end. It looks like this:

<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

If you want it to look pretty you can delete that stuff (it's not needed) otherwise it pops up on the board as text

Who didn't see this coming after April 25th?

Jones n Raji inside rushers in No. 1 nickel n dime

How about a situational defense of...

Raji / Da. Jones

Nick Perry / Manning / CM3

Burnett / House / McMillian / Hayward (Healthy) / Tramon / Shields

That sure looks good on paper to me

That's cool, Boris.

I'm trying to figure out how they use Neal, IF he gets healthy and makes the team, as DE/OLB.  He is so light now, if he were in the base, wouldn't they just run at him?  Makes more sense as a change in scheme without a substitution.

This is a great thread but most people can't get it to load due to the volume of video in it. I'm going to lock it & minimize replies to at least help out the loading of the thread.
