Given all the underclassmen who came out this year (98)...does that mean the 2015 Draft will be somewhat depleted ?

2014 is a deep draft and GB will be picking late in the 2015 draft. Would you trade next years 1st to Houston for their 1st pick of the 2nd round today ? And if so, which player would you take ?

Thompson has said in the past that he really doesn't like doing this... but you're not Ted are you ?

In the end I think it depends on how pressing they deem the need to fill a hole, and like IC said how in love they are with a potential pick this year. If they think the player is special and won't come along again, then you make the deal and worry about next year's draft next year. Like you said Satori doesn't seem like TT's MO, but what do we know about what goes on up there? I say stay where you are. No hard on's.

I assume you are projecting next years 1st will be #32 so a swap to Houston's 2014 2nd is only 1 slot.     There is the 5th year option benefit with 1st rounders.

It's not a given that the 2015 draft will be depleted because of the record number of underclassmen this year. I read an article (Bechta maybe) that said this will be the trend in the new CBA (limited rookie deals, 5th year options...) and we could see an even higher number of underclassmen next year.

gotta go with no here.

You can trade our 2nd and 3rd this year up into the 36-38 range if you have a hard on for someone.. plus we have the comp 3rd for jennings which is untradeable and leaves us with a normal stable of picks plus a comp 5th i believe.

Kony Ealy might be worth trading up for into the 38 range if he slides.. but I think I'd rather stand pat.  Boreland might slide to us
