Great point…if this is the first half we've seen a Capers defense lay an eggs and ST commit critical penalties. Not like this hasn't been  a broken record over the last four years.

I don't disagree with you. but in reality it's almost to be expected.  My biggest beef will be if they don't adjust as needed as they see who and who can't play.  ILB are scrubs and missing beef on the line today.  Need to tighten up.

Name them…what exactly are the great games in the last four years where the D and/or Special Teams has carried them?

They've had plenty of great games as a full team - but that's been largely thanks to the two-time MVP.

Smart. Experienced.

Rodgers audibled after he saw Adams come in motion and a cornerback follow him. That told him he had man to man with Jones. He called the audible and Jones beat his guy badly.

I think most people loved the James Jones signing but this isn't surprising at all.   He won't do this every game he has it in him to do this any week.  Still can't believe anyone would be critical of signing him for the minimum and letting White go.

Now it's time for the defense to show up.

With the MVP, would you ever expect the D have to carry them?  Have sacks,  picks, fumbles created or explicitly won a game?  Yes, maybe, perhaps?  We have the MVP and best player in the NFL.  It should never be needed.  But think of last year's blowouts.  The D had a HUGE part in why they were blowouts.

That's the way this team was built.  This defense sits in the middle of the pack, Superb Owl.

That was me. I was the only one.
