The OL played like shi*

Lacy played like shi*

WR's (outside of Cobb) did nothing.

And AR was just off tonight. That pass where he had a wide open Cobb that likely would have gone for 6 was just way off. Very uncharacteristic of AR.

Sometimes you just come out flat. This entire team played like they took a hit of wacky tobaccky before taking the field tonight. It happens.

I don't think it's getting fixed by next week. They have to go back to square 1 and look at everything. The route trees. The run game. All of it.

Quick view is the offense is still trying to force deep routes that are taking too long to develop. And when those deep routes fail to develop there's no plan B. Rodgers looks like he's still tearing through the progressions. But when those expire it's fire drill time.

Its important that MM is critical of everything related to the offense starting immediately. Including Rodgers.

Since they moved him back inside the pass D looks much better.

Randall has played the whole game. When Shields went out it forced Hayward to the outside which is where he sucks.

Not true.. Go watch Denver's first drive.

Nah, Dom will dial 'er up, Lacy will lose 20 and regain his quickness,  Aaron will take a chance, Monty may be back and of course Janis!

does anyone else think Aaron doesn't step up into the pocket??  I know he scrambles and moves around.....but he doesn't step up and away from the pocket falling around him.  Or am I nuts?

So what did they do during the bye-week? That is why this is worrisome, coming out of the bye-week after the offense had not looked Packers-like for several previous games. And AR has looked less than stellar, and he is the team.

Serious offensive problems that didn't get fixed during the bye and the defense clearly isn't as good as advertised. This is a good team, but not much more than that and certainly not the second best team in the league like many claimed.

Rob Demovsky ESPN Staff Writer

How many times did Packers QB Aaron Rodgers look down the field and see no one open in Sunday's loss to the Broncos?: "A good amount," he said. "We didn't get open enough. We didn't complete enough passes."

Then maybe you should start running the ball.  Does anyone know what the Packers were trying to establish on offense tonight? Because it seem like a lot of "grab bag" football--run one series, then a fullback, then spread, then....

Again. That's not completely on the receivers. Scheme. Route trees. Formation. Receivers. And Rodgers. He had guys open. Not often. But he did. And he didn't pull the trigger. The entire timing aspect of this offense is really jacked up right now.

AR drops back. Goes through his progressions. Can't find anyone. Bounces around right, left, sometimes both. Finally gets forced to unload it somewhere. That play has played out far too many times the last three games. Tonight more than others.

When this offense is fully cranked up the play above still happens. But they are surrounded by quick verticals stick routes where the ball is out of Rodgers hand in under 2 seconds.

The ball rarely comes out fast the last three weeks.

Time to analyze everything.

AFC loss. No big deal.

Very unhappy with the way the team played tonight.

Didn't think we'd see a performance that bad ever this season.

Hopefully just a bad day at the office.

Broncos offense still sucks. They should all be sending Dom Capers gifts & thanking him.

More unhappy with Packer offense. WTF was that?!?!? Rodgers worst game of his career in a game he played fully. The offense has sucked for a month now. Time to try something different.

Next week vs. Carolina would be a good place to start

It's easy to sit back and ask why no adjustments were made to the offense during the bye week.

They were winning. That's not a Packer fault. That's a football coaching fault that goes back forever.

"We've got a lot of things we need to clean up" is what you hear from every coach when their team is winning. No coach thinks things have to be drastically altered. They're winning. They think they just need to do what they've been doing better.

Tonight was a pretty blatant stamp that they don't need to do what they've been doing better. They need to look at everything. Starting on the flight home tonight.

Very well put Chillijon.

As a 75 year old who has seen 53 years of Packer football I would like to add this to the above post.

MM gave this team waaaay too much time off during the bye week. They should have been preparing hard for the Broncos.

Watching the game I perceived a Packer attitude of; Oh! it's time to play some football, well I guess I have to, but I would much rather be doing a commercial or partying.

I do not believe MM imparts a sense of urgency to his coaches or the players, I see way too many smiles and pats on the head when the players come off the field after a failed series.

As per Rodgers after the game; "we did not execute our plan". That tells me the "Plan" was not a good one in the beginning which is a cardinal failure of the coaching staff- taking the opponent for granted or underestimating their capability.

Would love to see it but dont think it will happen, Packers in the SB.

MM seems to be trying different coaching and preparation methods every year, find a good one and stick to it, Lombardi did.

While I respect your 53 years of Packer football, MM was 8-1 in games coming off bye week in which he gave the team a week off.....in addition, Kubiak let the Broncos go home during bye week also. It had little to do with the ass thumping we received last night.

If we want to use a non-Packer comparison, it reminded me of the Patriots-Chiefs game last year.  Good team gets soundly beat on national TV, and everyone starts tossing around terms like "exposed" and "overrated."   Even the true contenders have off days.  It happens, especially on the road.

This team has work to do, but they should be fine.  I trust this group: McCarthy, Rodgers, etc.  They'll get back on track.

I was at the game yesterday.  There were a number of Packer fans, but the Broncos still had a big home field advantage.  Sports Authority was rocking.  Between the '97 team on hand and Pat Bowlen's induction,  he fans were pumped.  And the Denver defense is legit.  I would rank them the best in the league.  I was shocked when I saw them go cover zero, daring Rodgers & Co. to beat them.  But with that defense and HFA, they can do it.  Very few opponents will have good games here.

It amazes me how one game can make such a difference, even with no major injuries.  The vast majority of fans here in Denver wanted Manning replaced with Brock; suggested that a Manning injury could be the best thing for their Super Bowl chances; talked about how the Packers were far superior and would win easily; and concluded that this Broncos team has no chance of winning a Super Bowl.  Now everyone is back to the Super-Bowl-or-bust mentality.

I hope we have another shot at them in February on a neutral field.

We'll be fine.  R-E-L-A-X.
