I ann sad about these deaths, but am also grateful that we were able to benefit from these individuals' lives, talents, examples. Both DR and CF, for example, serve as cautionary and redemptive stories for us. Life throws curves at everybody, especially the famous. It is good when they are able to pick themselves up from failure or hurt. Much like sports in that way.
RIP.
