Players will be chosen. I am working on my consensus board

"Players will be chosen", is pretty damn concise.
All I know is that this GM the Brewers have seems like he knows what he's doing. Knock it out of the park with this draft and the Brewers rebuild can take another couple steps forward.
Will we be able to watch every pick with inputs from former players and sportscasters for 3 days? Way better option than 24 hr cable news or Clash of Clans.
Well, than 24 hr cable news. CoC rocks!
History of the #9 pick. Notice one the Brewer greats went #9 (and the following year, one of the greatest Brewer embarrassments, the Eric Sogard of outfielders).

9. Brewers
Mayo: Jo Adell, OF, Ballard HS (Louisville, Ky.) - There's been a lot of talk about high school bats here, and Adell fits that description for sure, and they'd be interested in Beck should he get here. Florida right-hander Alex Faedo is in the mix as well, as is the oft-mentioned Haseley.
Callis: Austin Beck, OF, North Davidson HS (Lexington, N.C.) - Milwaukee likes to collect athletic high school outfielders, and Beck and Kentucky prepster Jo Adell are exciting athletes. The Brewers also could look at prep left-handers D.L. Hall (Georgia) and Trevor Rogers (New Mexico) or collegians Haseley or Faedo.

I like Shane Baz for #9. Callis and Mayo both have him avaibale. I have personally seen him pitch, too in Tombhall, TX... so, a little biased.
Plus.. Baz is just a great name.
Pavin Smith 1b out of UVA would be a decent pick too. We have next to no one at 1b that projects to the majors in our minor leagues. He'd be theoretically ready sooner too, just in case Thames/Aguilar start to flame out in a year or two... I really like Aguilar, i hope he sticks a long time.
So... Baz, if not Baz I'm ok with Smith or Adam Haseley out of UVA. Really as been talked about so many times.. this is a big crapshoot, however, if your scouts are a little bit better than the average it makes a huge difference. Hoping the Stearns led brain trust is on to something.
I think Gatewood is the 1st basemen of the future.
!st base and RHP, not my first choice in the first round (I like Baz too, but pitchers, man, the hit rate is low). Shortstops and OF in the first round, maybe a 3rd baseman if you think he is the shizat.
Our history of developing pitching, save it for the 3rd pick (which is the same place Yo was drafted many moons ago).

Crap shoot.
If you can load the dice a little.. it's less of a crap shoot. That's what good scouts do.
Keston Kiura - 2b/of UC-Irvine. Solid pick. Crazy college #s.
MLB.com has Ian Kinsler comp.. 25-30 HR potential.
I'll never understand taking the early pick underslot. I'm sure we will hear with the next couple picks how they could overpay, but it alway confuses me.
Hope they know what they are doing

That is an amazingly compact swing.
Maybe he is Rickie Weeks and I fall in love with this pick
Correct me if I'm wrong. National League players have to play a position where they , you know, throw the baseball.
Did the Brewers know that?
Too early to say he is a bust? And why draft a guy when you can pick up a .400 BA second baseman off the street? We release 2nd baseman that hit 4 hrs a game.

Yup, and it looks exactly the same, pitch after pitch after pitch.
Lutz and Lemons are huge upside picks. Reminds me of the Coulter, Haniger, Roache draft in some respects. 2 high upside guys and a steady college hitter (less of a bat, more tools- at the time-in Haniger). That being said.. boy i'd love to have Haniger back. That was a crappy throw in to make the Segura trade work, ouch.
Roache was a good roll of the dice at the time, although, they should have taken a better look at his wrists. He wrecked them in college, which was too bad, he was a hell of a hitter supposedly prior to injury.
I like the idea of Lemons going to a team known for developing pitchers.
Except we drafted him.
No problem. We should be able to dial Lemon in on the split finger slider this summer. Preferably thrown cross body.

Scrappy, gamer, sucks. Fans will still like him. Essentially he is Eric Sogard

#Brewers 8th round pick Jayson Rose, 5'11, Utah RHP. Nasty change, average FB, chance for 3 pitches w/ curve. Here's his CH/FB. #Brewers pic.twitter.com/MRrigZFmRu

#Brewers take infielder Dallas Carroll in the ninth. More interesting than typical senior sign. He hit .369/.465/.591 w/ just 19 strikeouts.

They don't make guys like this anymore.
Today in 1974, Nolan Ryan throws 235 pitches while walking 10 & striking out 19 in 13 innings. Tommy John's elbow just said "What the ****?" pic.twitter.com/34qcSgbGAd
