I was joking when I said B.B. would call more rushing attempts with WR than MM with RB. B.B. must be sending message to MM that he could have succeeded with Monty.
And that ejection is emblematic of the Mike McCarthy team we have had slowly devolving over the past several years. They just have no mental toughness anymore. None. Stupid penalties at the most inopportune times, killer mental blunders like Ty Montgomery choosing to take the ball out of the end zone, coughing away a chance for Rodgers to beat the undefeated Rams. These brain farts have become the hallmark of the McCarthy Packers. And I am sick of it. Sick of seeing the brass at the top of the food chain allowing this kind of cancer to fester.
We have the highest rated quarterback in NFL history. The hardest position in all of professional sports to fill, and we have arguably the best to ever play the game.
Much like Favre before him, unless something radically changes-and soon-Aaron Rodgers will retire with only one ring. How can this franchise continue to accept such mediocrity from the coaching staff?
