Vikings pull another out of their asses. 7-1. It's over in the North.
Rodgers era over.
Now how long do we need to hang on to MLF, Gutey, Ball, and Murphy ?
There's your ballgame.
We do what we do.
They had zero clue on that drive. No urgency on Rodgers part. I'm beginning to loathe 12

Painful to say, but the better team won.
Canβt wait for Pat Mcafees hard hitting questions this week
Garbage last drive. Embarrassing.
Watkins is the worst receiver on this team and doesn't even deserve to be on the team. Last week he didn't know how to block on the outside and instead ran a route instead... today he just proved he never would have been accepted to a single college anywhere absent a scholarship for football.
I don't think Watkins has run a pattern correctly all game.

It was over a few weeks ago. This is a dead Packers team and they should have been sellers at the deadline.
How is that not illegal contact? Crap throw but the db was all over him far past 5 yards

And a bad route to close it out.

A receiver running aimlessly because he doesn't know the route while bumping into people is not illegal contact on the defense.

I've actually been thinking about this since the trade deadline.
I've come to conclude that no one wanted to buy a single thing the Packers were trying to sell because it's all hot steamy garbage.
I tried to change my password to GreenBayOffense, but x4 said it was too weak
Misery loves company. Raiders took a 17-0 lead on the Jaguars and lose 27-20.
We scored more points than the Colts. There's something.
Not all is lost
I doubt this team catches Houston but with Jacksonville and Detroit winning itβs completely possible that Green Bay could get a top 5 pick.
The season was done weeks ago so the objective now needs to be to tank. Get in the top 3 and you will have a shot at one of the best QB classes in a while.

They could've gotten a nice return for Aaron Jones, but they thought they still had a chance for a WC (big deal - they had zero shot at making the SB).

Gute will trade that away to get multiple 2nd and 3rd round picks.
Speaking of the trade deadline... the tight end the Bandwagon Franchise picked up from the Lions because they were hurt at that position and needed help to make a run... had 9 catches for 70 yards.

Gute will fuck it up of they do.
When I first saw our schedule with the Giants, Jets, Commanders, Bills and Lions; I thought the Bills will be tough to beat but we can win the other 4. Unbelievable! π€¬

It feels like the 30 year run as one of the top NFL Organizations ended this past month. You could make a case it ended the day of the abysmal 2020 draft, but this last month sort of confirmed that a very fun era to be a Packers fan is over.
It really was a terrific era, you just wish they could have added a couple more World Championships during that time. In fairness, only 3 teams had more titles than GB during that run, Dallas, Denver, and New England. It just shows you just how much has to go right to win it all.
Well, maybe shut down Rodgers let the thumb heal and play Love now. It would be the only reason I would want to travel back to Green Bay to watch them play Tennessee on Thursday.

But rodgers said he was the most consistent player in camp??!?!

I think most of us have gotten in the habit of assuming wins. That's understandable for fans, but this team has been doing that for a while now. Now, not one team in the league is threatened by this team. But the difference is those teams are hungry. This team wasn't hungry from day 1. Same personnel on defense, and they assumed they were top 5 because that's what everyone told them. They also have little experience playing from behind on defense. We knew their would be issues on offense, and the scheme has sucked and been too predictable. But the real issue has been discipline from top to bottom. We could probably go back and point to many games where eliminating even half the mistakes could result in wins. But they just can't get their shit together. They have earned every loss they've taken this year, most of the time in brutal fashion.
This team has been soft in my opinion for awhile too. And, weβve basically lost control of the line play on both sides of the ball.
6red zone trips for Rodgers, 1 td against the worst defense in the league. 3ints, a fg and turnover on downs
We won't get more than 1 or 2 wins the rest of the way, top 5 pick is likely.
A wr acquisition this week wouldn't have fixed all these issues

The funny thing is, it seems the only way they could make a roster this comically bad was to tank from the get-go.
How could we tell if they were tanking?

Anyone rooting to lose to the Vikings and Bears to get a better draft pick...
I got nothing. Nothing is bad enough for that mentality
