I've actually been thinking about this since the trade deadline.

I've come to conclude that no one wanted to buy a single thing the Packers were trying to sell because it's all hot steamy garbage.

They could've gotten a nice return for Aaron Jones, but they thought they still had a chance for a WC (big deal - they had zero shot at making the SB).

I doubt this team catches Houston but with Jacksonville and Detroit winning it’s completely possible that Green Bay could get a top 5 pick.

The season was done weeks ago so the objective now needs to be to tank.  Get in the top 3 and you will have a shot at one of the best QB classes in a while.

Gute will trade that away to get multiple 2nd and 3rd round picks.

Gute will fuck it up of they do.

Rodgers era over.

Now how long do we need to hang on to MLF, Gutey, Ball, and Murphy ?

It feels like the 30 year run as one of the top NFL Organizations ended this past month.  You could make a case it ended the day of the abysmal 2020 draft, but this last month sort of confirmed that a very fun era to be a Packers fan is over.

It really was a terrific era, you just wish they could have added a couple more World Championships during that time.  In fairness, only 3 teams had more titles than GB during that run, Dallas, Denver, and New England.  It just shows you just how much has to go right to win it all.

When I first saw our schedule with the Giants, Jets, Commanders, Bills and Lions; I thought the Bills will be tough to beat but we can win the other 4.   Unbelievable!  πŸ€¬

I think most of us have gotten in the habit of assuming wins. That's understandable for fans, but this team has been doing that for a while now. Now, not one team in the league is threatened by this team. But the difference is those teams are hungry. This team wasn't hungry from day 1. Same personnel on defense, and they assumed they were top 5 because that's what everyone told them. They also have little experience playing from behind on defense. We knew their would be issues on offense, and the scheme has sucked and been too predictable. But the real issue has been discipline from top to bottom. We could probably go back and point to many games where eliminating even half the mistakes could result in wins. But they just can't get their shit together. They have earned every loss they've taken this year, most of the time in brutal fashion.

The funny thing is, it seems the only way they could make a roster this comically bad was to tank from the get-go.
