Packers must beat Vikings and Lions
AND
Washington must lose to either Cleveland OR Dallas
OR NYG must lose to Colts and at Philly
That yields the 7th seed likely vs SF in round 1

If it gets to that point the zebras better give us some calls for that Rice fumble.
I believe another TIE for the Redskins is just like a loss, so long as the Packers win their next two.
And a loss and another TIE for the Giants puts the Packers in the playoffs so long as they beat the Vikings and Lions.

Wouldn't the Packers as the 7th play the 2 (Vikings)? Or do you see the 9ers overtaking the Pansies?

If the assumption is the Packers make the playoffs, that means they beat the Vikings. Niners last two are at Vegas and home against the Cards. If they win both (and the Vikings lose to the Packers), they'll have the same record as the Minnesota but a better Conference record, thus netting the 2 seed.
The only thing that would warm the cockles of my heart more than the Packers knocking the Vikes out of the 2 seed is the Packers knocking the Vikes out of the playoffs!
Packers can also get the 6 seed via Giants and Commanders losing out.
Right around kickoff on Sunday the Packers will know what is riding on the game.
The Packers are eliminated from the Playoffs if the Lions win against the Bears and the Packers lose--regardless of what the Commanders, Giants, or Seahawks do in their games.
Lions are NOT going to lose to the Bears.

Bears win: No chance the Bears were losing this game. The Bears just played their Superbowl.
Bears lose: No chance the Bears were winning this game. They'd do anything they could to try keeping the Packers out of the playoffs, including losing.
Bears tie: They do what they do (wrong team?)
Bears are going for the draft pick at this point. Nothing else.
No scenarios possible with a loss, correct?
We need to win both games.

Least we can do.
We are and have been in the playoffs for the last month.
We can lose the Vikings game and still make the playoffs, but Wash and Det have to lose out and I think Seattle has to drop their remaining NFC game. Not sure what happens if they lose the AFC game instead (not worth looking up IMO).
Since those are early games by kickoff that scenario might no longer be valid.
Is the Commander's most recent scandal situation still under investigation? Any chance they could be barred from the playoffs this season if the findings come to light? Any chance Mora did anything stupid that could be investigated?
Fedya has more of a chance with Cindy Crawford than the Commanders do of being banned from the playoffs.
Chase wolf throwing it like a fourth down punt
17 missed tackleβs already
Bucky online needs to step up
Feel bad for Wolf already. The pick was horrible, but he has had two really nice passes dropped
Chase has stepped up since the int
Just .... win....
Ron Rivera has decided to start Carson Wentz at QB for the Commanders. He sucks! Plus Heinecke has won over that locker room and I think this is going to backfire, to Green Bayβs benefit.
For the life of me I don't get why Washington doesn't stick with the hot hand in Heinecke. I guess it would have to do with the fact they gave up multiple picks and are paying him something like 28M this season.
Maybe Rivera wants out of Washington that bad he is trying to commit coachicide
File under what have you done for me lately. From ESPN
News: 3 days agoHeinicke completed 13 of 18 pass attempts for 166 yards, two touchdowns, an interception and a fumble lost in Saturday's 37-20 loss to the 49ers.
Spin: Heinicke -- who entered the game already on the hot seat -- was unceremoniously benched in the second half in favor of Carson Wentz (12/16 for 123 yards and a touchdown) after he committed turnovers on consecutive drives. The 29-year-old was actually having a solid game against one of the league's top defenses before unraveling late in the contest. Head coach Ron Rivera said after the game that he will review the game film and decide on his starting quarterback early in Week 17, according to Nicki Jhabvala of the Washington Post. Heinicke wasn't providing eye-opening numbers prior to his recent struggles, so Rivera's decision is unlikely to shake the fantasy waters this late in the campaign. If he sticks with the incumbent, Heinicke will have to deal with Cleveland's dominant edge rusher, Myles Garrett, next Sunday after getting harassed by Nick Bosa in Saturday's loss.
So nobody had the heart to tell Bong this wasnβt the Badger thread?

They need to decide if they're going to pay him $26m next season or exercise the "out".

There is but it's really not even worth discussing. It's a list of all the other teams losing, most more than once.
Just win, Baby!
Cleveland did their part, beat the Commodes. We now control our own destiny.
Hard to fathom...we may be going up against McVince in the opening round...
I'm just wondering what motivates the Lions more the unlikely scenario of them beating the Packers and getting in the playoffs or the scenario that beating GB would allows the Seasucks to get the 7th seed!
