I'm treating the rest of this season like I viewed being a Cubs fan in 2012, 2013, and 2014.  I'll root for the Packers to win, but the outcome of the game isn't really the prize. Some of the pieces are there, bit they need experience. I want to see the youngsters improve, make good decisions, splash plays now and again.  This season is hopefully a building block for the next several years.

An indication as to how much things have changed in Detroit.

Difficult to see a Packer win, but I'll be happy if they just don't embarrass themselves.

When Dan Campbell was hired, the jeenyuses on this board went ape shit about it being a terrible hire.

And Campbell fully admits he came very close to be fired after a dismal start. This was hardly a wildly applauded hire when it happened.

It's a bad time to be a Loins fan. Well, anytime is, really; what can I say?
But bandwagon fans magically appear when a team starts playing well, and it will drive up the prices for season tickets, ticket prices from the resellers on a per  game basis, and so on.
That's the benefit for their long-suffering fans who have paid their dues for the last 20 years or so.

How did that first year go? 🤔

He came in with a poor team, our genius came in with a pretty good team.  He now has a pretty good team, our genius is struggling.

The moral of the story…..players win games.

Oh, and don’t over react.

Lions have been drafting in the top 5 for 30 years. The fact they are now relevant after 30 yrs with those high draft picks is more embarrassing as a lions fan.  And they still have not won anything.

Campbell is a very unconventional risk taker. When it works you look smart, when it doesn't you look like Brandon Staley and are always on the hot seat.
