It's fine that they gave the Packers a Thursday game in week 4, but why then make the bye week 2 weeks later?
The Packers then have to go 12 weeks with no breaks.
Oh well, just one of the things I found interesting.

Always good to dissect the schedule when it first comes out. But a fair amount will change by September regarding teams' makeup. And by mid-October, there's always a few teams better than anticipated, and a few worse than anticipated.
I searched the Members list and did not find anyone named keyboard warrior.

Last year, it was Week 14, which was way too late.
This year it comes too early, and makes for a long second half of season.
Conditioning and managing their bodies/injuries will be paramount for all players this season.
A bye after a Monday Night road game on the west coast is about as good as you can get, I don't care what week it is. And with playing on Thanksgiving Day they get another mini bye along with the one after week 4.
Agree. I like the bye after the MNF game. That's helpful.
It's a good place for a break from the first 5 games.

The interesting thing is the mini-bye after week 4 and then the actual bye in week 6. LaFleur even noted it was "interesting" when he spoke to Larry McCarren about the schedule.
I'm just saying they could have put the bye in like week 8.

Yeah, this isn't my first rodeo. I've seen worse than this board. Mental Illness is real in this world in many corners. I just hope all those struggling find the help they need.
