Watching Lukas Van Ness try, and fail, to play Edge in the NFL, I am shocked that he was rated a top 100 player, let alone a top 13 draft pick.

I just see nothing that stands out about his game. Nothing.

The Packers depth chart shows they start 4 of their own first round draft picks on the DL. Clark and Gary are adequate guys, but you can find those guys in Round 3 or for a lot less than the 40-45 million they are paying them. Van Ness is a non-factor. Wyatt seems to be as well.

Van Ness is the modern day Mike Mamula.  A workout warrior that scored a high draft pick.  Useless.  The best thing he can do is drop that stupid Hercules nickname.

Then you have Badgers cast offs like Andrew Van Ginkel and Zack Baun just dominating as outside pass rushers.  Go figure.

Van Ness couldn't even start at Iowa and he was there 3 years. It's not like he was playing behind future NFL superstars either.
