This is where you can see not having Watson hurts. No one to keep the safeties honest other than Reed. Melton had a sub-4.4 combine 40 but he hasn’t shown anything like that in pads. Rams just gonna keep crowding the box and blitzing
And that series went south as soon as they had another pre-snap penalty on 2nd down to pu them in a hole.
12 men on the field on the defense. No wonder he threw it.
I sincerely hope, as I mentioned at the time, that giving Love the contract they did, based on less than a season of showing he was any good, isn't going to be a disaster.
This group is complete shit in all 3 phases outside of the Willis games.

Playing a game with 1/2 the stands (or more) Packer fans after last week's debacle against a 1-3 Rams team that has half of its offense (and its 2 good WRs) injured and the Pack gets dominated in the first half.
Just brutal.
This team can turn it around. But I kind of wish they would start now.
That was a sh!t half of football but I feel strangely satisfied because the kicker managed to make what would be a routine FG for any other kicker.
Huge 2nd half. 2-3 would already put us in a hole in this division early
Time for Hafley to get the defense in gear. Time for our OL to protect Love.

Let’s just hope Love can turn things around in this next half. The Rams don’t fear him at all and are bringing the heat. Love has to make faster and better decisions in this half or the Packers will end this game at the bottom of the NFC North all by themselves.
