Hey, GB is holding in there. Just not at the SF level yet, and they are confusing Love a bit by not revealing their coverage at all, but GB hanging in there. It's a good lesson on the intensity needed in the playoffs.
@MaximusHess posted:hey, its a 1 point game for the 10 point underdogs, I will take that.
All well and good, but leaving points on the field against this team will be the death blow.
They haven't kept us out the Red Zone all night. The TDs will come.
Should be Packers 9-7 right now. Dumb fucking decision not to kick the field goal on the road.
Deebo done.
We need a turnover
Deebo questionable to return with a shoulder injury, per John Kuhn.
@Timmy! posted:Protection went to hell those last 2 plays.
Another opportunity missed.
At least Carlson is kicking well tonight.
No threat of the run makes it difficult.
Their front four consists of two #2 overall picks (Bosa and Young), another guy picked 17th overall (Armstead), and the final guy picked 14th overall (Kinlaw). The middle linebacker is probably a Hall of Famer (Warner).
They are good.
Defense
It will be even clearer when SF still wins without Deebo.
Nice stop on McCaffrey!
MLF is going to need to find a way to make the whiners pay for that aggressiveness.
So far, the D is bottling up MCM.
What's the difference between McCaffrey and Jones.
I would say not that much. They are both good.
Barry tackling is back.
Tackle
Lousy tackling, Quay.
D doing the matador
Is Gary playing today?
Love has to scramble around, buy time, and then throw on the run.
Purdy drops back, takes time to check the wind direction, and then throws.
We need you Gary.
SF is better on both lines.
Two more quarters like the first quarter, not like the second quarter, please.
Gary has been MIA in the past couple of games.
Haven't seen him today.

I think the rookie, Van Ness has made more plays than Gary in the playoffs, so far.
Purdy is decent, but the incredibly deep and talented roster around allows him to shine. There will be a pick of him in the second half. And as said, good job on CMC.
It's still close, but it doesn't feel close...

Yeah, going to need to pick OL early in the draft. Plug that hole, and the skyβs the limit.

They had to pay him, but he's not a TJ Watt or Aidan Hutchinson level difference maker.
However, the Niners LT (Trent Williams) is a future Hall of Famer. He's made 11 Pro Bowls and is a first ballot guy. He'd slow down prime Lawrence Taylor.
Turnovers are going to be necessary if they can't win consistently at the line.
Defense has got to make a stop here.
DO NOT LET THEM SCORE BEFORE THE HALF!!
OL taking over.
Itβs obvious but watch Kittle
@norm posted:One point better so far.
If they kick the FG and Savage catches a ball that hits him right in the hands, it's 16-7.
Of course, if my aunt had balls she'd be my uncle.
This is where the Beery plan sucks. They are planning 10 yards off and Whiners are throwing dink passes that are going for 8 to 10 yards.

Maybe Barry could learn to move him around? HAHAHAHAHA
