Titans beat reporter Nick Suss, prediction:  Packers 17, Titans 13

Until the Titans' offense proves otherwise, it's hard to expect too much rhythm. Levis and company will make a few plays, but the Packers' defense is a little too solid and the offense can make just enough happen to steal another win without Love.

game-time temperature is forecasted at 90 degrees with a 97-degree heat index.

Inactives, from packers.com:

NASHVILLE -- After being questionable on the injury report due to his knee injury, QB Jordan Love will miss his second straight game Sunday at Tennessee. He has been ruled out. QB Malik Willis will start in his place again.

Here's the full list of inactives:

Keys to the game

  • Malik Willis - Do NOT turn into Will Levis
  • Pass rush - It's time for Hafley to unleash the dogs 🐶 & get home
  • Game plan - mix in some more controlled passing. I don't think you'll be able to rush 53 times this game.
  • Defense - 3 more takeaways would be most welcomed!

Malik needs to continue efficiently controlling the offense just like he did vs. the Colts but probably need to be more of a 50/50 mix this game. Malik absolutely positively cannot turn the ball over.

On defense.....IT IS TIME....to go get the QB After the first two weeks of having opposing QBs with excellent Rush skills keeping them contained in the pocket. It's time to go get the quarterback.

This Titans team will be desperate for a win after starting 0-2. The Packers will have to take it from them and it won't be easy. Titans could very easily be 2-0 and they should definitely be 1-1 After completely blowing the game versus the Bears. Titans coach said if we just punted the ball on 3rd down, we win the game versus the Bears.

ESPN had a live feed of Love taking snaps and running to his left/right while throwing pre-game.  He looked pretty damn good.

He did, agree. I get resting Love one more week. It's an AFC opponent and this is not a must win for GB. Have him close to 100% for the Queens at home.

Having said that, the Packers absolutely have a good chance to win this game. Play smart football, take what the D gives you. And on defense, go get that damn ball because Levis will give you plenty of opportunities for picks and/or fumbles.

Let’s hope we see an aggressive improved D-Line this week.  I feel like the only guy who has looked pretty good so far this year is Wyatt.

If you get some heat on Levis I think he’ll hand you some free points.  If we rush him as weakly as we have the first 2 weeks, I think he’ll get some confidence and have some success.  He may be dumb but he’s athletic enough to hurt you if you let him get comfortable.

Punting is Winning

Exactly. Protect the ball and let the Titans lose patience and make mistakes. The punter is a weapon. Listening to the Titans radio this week they seemed to think that while their LBs are great against the run, they're vulnerable in the passing game.

I'd bet there's a lot of players on the Titans who like Malik better than their own QB. It's good vibes in our direction. Malik should also be comfortable in that stadium. Titans should be desperate to avoid 0-3 but that can go sideways quick if they're messy out of the gate. Titans know Malik, but he also knows their roster well. He knows who he can dummy on scrambles and who to avoid. Game feels like a coin flip to me.

If there was a boner emoji I'd give it to this post.

Watson may be taking some stick but he helps the team by just being on the field. Almost always draws 2 when going deep and he blocks his ass off. His blocking last week (along with Kraft and the other WRs) was outstanding.
