Didn't feel like dusting off the thoroughly depressing AP thread.
When San Jose police officers arrived at Ray McDonalds house in response to a domestic violence call they were probably a little more than surprised to find an off duty San Jose police Sgt. already at the home.
Turns out as many as 20 SJPD officers are working with the 49ers. While I could understand players asking local officers to act as personal protection for themselves or their families while they are on the road, this sounds all kinds of crooked.
