All 54 Starting Super Bowl Quarterbacks Ranked

Looks like he used number of SB games, if they won, and how the QB himself did in the game as criteria to rank these guys. That is as good of a way to do it as any.
Bart Starr is #8. If AR wants to move up the list, win three or 4 SBs.
I'm having a hard time imagining Eli Manning ahead of Bart Starr. Of course, Starr is punished because some of his championships were before the SB started.
Aaron probably played better in that Super Bowl than the stats actually bear out. I recall possibly as early as the first series he had a long bomb to Jordy Nelson that went right through his hands. Later in the game, threw a laser to James Jones on the dead run that possibly could have been a TD as well but Jones dropped it like he had been doing for much of the latter part of that year.
Favre played well in Super Bowl XXXI, but not as well as Aaron. Favre was decent in Super Bowl XXXII, but on that day, decent wasn't enough. He got absolutely robbed on that INT where Brooks was held, but he also got absolutely dead lucky when he threw a duck right into the arms of Denver safety Steve Atwater who dropped a chance at an easy INT. So Favre's 1 INT probably should have been a penalty, but he absolutely should have had an INT on the drop by Atwater so it all evened out.
Edit: One thing I forgot about Super Bowl XXXII, if Freeman catches that ball on 2nd down on the final series, it's entirely possible we all would have looked at Favre in a different light. That was a hell of a pass and in fast motion, you just assumed a Bronco had knocked it down, but it actually was right in the perfect spot where only Freeman could have caught it and I think it surpised Freeman so much, he dropped it. That said, even if Freeman catches that and scores which wasn't a given, there's no guarantee the defense would have stopped the Broncos on the next possession so that still could have been a loss.

And not during the passing era of the NFL. It was mostly a run-first game prior to the '80s.

Well, you gots to remember that anything thing before the 1st SB does not count, which is BS! Bart is da Man!!!!
