I hate the Cardinals

I hope they kick the crap out of them. I should hate the Cubs more, but honestly the Cardinals fans are the worst. If it’s not their so called “best fan” reputation it’s their passive aggressive bull**** and it gets really old after a while.
Paying attention to the Brewers 50 games into the season? lol
Cards line up:
Carpenter 3B Martinez 1B Pham CF Gyorko 2B Ozuna LF Bader RF Muñoz SS Peña C Weaver SP
Brerwers line up: Cain CF Yelich RF Aguilar 1B Shaw 3B Braun LF Villar 2B Pina C Saladino SS Suter P
Jesus looking like he belongs full time.
Steaming pile in the thread title and a dead cardinal. Good start.
Braun liking the 5 hole!
Someone do a pee test on Suter!!! 88/89??? Must have finished Braun's lemonade.
Suter clutch at bat
And he gives the 2 runs right back ugh
Jesus produces again. And Braun rips a bloop single with 2 outs for a run!
That’s how you start a series.
With the weather warming up, so are the Brewer bats. They were bottom half in most offensive categories going into this week, except HRs of course. Now they’re putting up a lot of crooked numbers...
Took the youngest daughter and her friend to the ballpark had a lot of fun. This team seems to have that “it” factor in that just when it seems the chips are down someone steps up and delivers.
Today it was Villar with the bomb that put the game away but Suter was nails until he ran out of gas. Then Albers comes in and slams the door shut.
The unsung hero right now is Aguilar. The guy can flat out hit and he’s a pretty solid defensive 1B. They needed someone to fill in the gap offensively with Braun and Thames down and he’s done that.

Nooooooooo, do not show this. So sad a beautiful bird died. I love the cardinal birds around our home in the winter. But, god the Brew Crew kicked their arse today.........just don’t show a dead cardinal bird.
it got better
It was just pining.

Oh, and that makes me feel so much better. NOT.
Suter's OPS is nearly 3 times higher than Sogard.
I was at the game yesterday. Was glad to see Sogard start on Sunday and get his 0-4 out of the way so he wouldn't start when I was attending. I only had to endure his suck for a single PH at bat.
I hope Arcia kept his bags packed.
Feels like a no no kinda night.
Davies has been crap this year. Not sure if he’s dinged or what but he’s got to pitch better than this. They’ve been fine without him playing well but dude needs to step it up.
Saladino gets hurt because Perez gets cute and makes an idiotic play. Throw the damn ball to 1st. Instead our hot hitting SS rolls his ankle.
Doesn’t help that the strike zone during Brewer at bats seemed juuuuust a bit wider...
All right! Got out of the inning!
3-2 Brewers, bottom of the 8th! Let's win this series!
and Counsell looks like a genuis for the pitching change #Brewers

Winning close games with good pitching is fun.
Beating the Cardinals is extra fun.
Bob's call of the last out in the 9th as a strikeout might be what we need for world peace
You don’t need to win 19 in a row. Just keep winning more series than you lose.
**** the cardinals.

Missed it....I only get to hear Bob when listening in the car on XM and it's not often. I'm seriously gonna get choked up when he retires. He's been a HUGE part of my life. Him and Merle Harmon kept me out of a lot of trouble in the 70's.

Hit about 2:00 in.
To be honest, Ueck is the thing I miss most about Wisconsin at this point, outside of my parents (note applies occasionally). It's a shame he doesn't get even 1/10th the love nationally that Scully got. Different style no doubt, and yeah, he was pretty famous in the late 70's/early 80's but for his comedy more than his calling of games.
But, to me, he IS Brewer baseball more than anyone associated with this franchise with the exception of Yount. Got to talk to him at Mayfair mall as a 13 year old starstruck kid. Will never forget the white cowboy hat he was wearing. He is the man.
I just hope he gets to retire (you know what I mean...), and ideally retire with a WS win.

My parents would let us kids, 6 of us, stay up and watch when Bob was on. He’s one of the reason I love sports.....outside of my parents, 3 older brothers, my favorite and only sister, and my youngest brother.
Had a chance to meet Sidney Moncrief as a kid and talked to him and it was unbelievable. Have a picture with the guy at the old Mecca.
My second favorite moment was chatting it up with Yount at a spring training game when he had his brief stint as a bench coach. Even better was it took place at the now defunct Hi Corbett Field. For Major League fans look it up.

Merle Harmon was my neighbor across the street in Brookfield when I was aged 2-6 years old. I never remember meeting him, but I did end up playing with the parking brake on my mom's car, releasing the car to roll down the driveway all the way into Merle's ditch. My 2 or 3 year old brother was still in the car by himself as I jumped out as the car made its' way into Merle's yard. Fortunately nobody was hurt, and I didn't wreck anything in Merle's yard so I didn't get too deep on Merle's sh*t list.
His daughter Cara was my playmate too, but I never talked to her again after my family moved away in 1975 when I was 6.
Got to sit in the pbp booth for the second half of the game during the second game of the 2008 season with Uecker and his side kick. It was freezing at Wrigley, although sunny. The Brewers absolutely lit up Ted Lilly, and as a Cubs fan, wasn’t much of a game. But watching him call the game was a lot of fun. He’s got a trucker’s mouth when not on the air. I referred to him as “sir” a couple of times and he told me that if I kept calling him “sir” he was gonna beat my fukcing a$$! He gave me his press book after the game and his scorecard. Got us in to the Brewers’ locker room after the game. Counsel was still playing and looked 12. Prince is not much taller than Gary Coleman. And fatter looking in person. And the visitor locker room was concrete and ceiling pipes. Was given an authentic Brewers cap which I still have. Best Cubs loss I’ve ever been to.
Anyway, Ueck is pretty damn funny and seems like a great guy,
