Pretty sloppy tonight. Need to bounce back in game 2 against the worst team in baseball.
The bullpen has been lights out but I am getting concerned with the starting pitching. Anderson and Davies have not been good lately and they are your two studs. On the flip side, Guerra and Chacin have overachieved but can we count on that to continue? Not sure. So far they have figured out a way to work through the ups and downs and I hope this continues.
With all of Braun’s defensive issues, why isn’t he DH?

There has been a lot of talk about Counsell using his best pitchers in crucial situations regardless of what inning it is. So why did he bring in Albers while Jeffres sits in the pen? Keep the game at 1-1 I say. Bad move to bring in Albers.
Not gonna win too often scoring only 1 run.
Sometimes you have to use Albers.
