The guy has talent and you can see why they are excited about Peralta.  But he’s got to keep his poise and focus.  Teams now have scouting reports on the guy so he’s got to concentrate.

Not common to see a team walk 7 batters and still win.  At this point I’ll gladly take it.

It’s becoming clear that this is not just another classic Brewers team- overachieve for a while then fade and die as we hopeful watch helplessly. There really is reason to believe they can ride this all the way to the post season. They stumbled, now they’re playing ball again.

Didn't think much of Miley at first , but wow, what a performance last night. Pen too - 2 hit shutout was a thing of beauty.

Some defense on display as well....couple of nice plays by Moose and the takeaway by Lo was the stuff winning teams do.

In some ways I've enjoyed this team more than say the 2011 Brewers team.  I was so Pro-Football centric at that time that I didn't follow the Brewers as intensely as I am this season.

There's been only 2 real downer periods this season, the 4 game sweep at the hands of the Cubs, and the 5 game sweep by the Pirates.

I'm realistic in that they probably aren't strong enough to win it all, but at the same time, I never believed they'd be tied for 1st with the Cubs this late in the season either.  They aren't the most talented team, but they have a lot of chemistry, they've got a great bullpen and a lot of other good things going for them.  Just enjoying the ride right now.
