Zach Davies threw 79 pitches in his Triple-A start tonight. Sounds like one more in the Minors before the Brewers consider bringing him back from the DL: https://t.co/CA0Wjz8b0Y

RHP Matt Albers (left hamstring) has been placed on the 10-day disabled list, retroactive to Sunday. RHP Jordan Lyles has been activated after being acquired via trade waivers from San Diego on Sunday. pic.twitter.com/n1Y1C5a01D

And in 10 days Albers can be DFAed.
Tough night for Chase Anderson. Had it early but what the hell happened?
Everyone getting knocked around tonight...
Holy sloppy ness.
Time for Perez or Kratz to get some work in.
Jordan Lyles has a career ERA of 5.32 in 750 innings. That's not a small sample size.
I don't want Stearns to give away the farm, but I don't think Lyles is much better than running Kratz out there (actually Kratz has a lower career ERA). I would like to see what else is out there for pitching help. I'm worried the bullpen guys are just gassed from too much work.
What a bag of suck... 2 innings where they didn’t give up runs. 4 2-run innings... not good timing for the p staff to implode.
Complete ass kicking against a terrible team
It has been a while since they have gotten knocked around like this
Good thing it only counts as one game
Another great 1st inning tonight. Back to back to back HR. Aguilar, a 3 run blast, then Shaw and Thames. Also had 2 runners on but Yelich struck out to end the inning. Hopefully Chacin is up to the task of holding a lead.
.@ChristianYelich you’re lucky you play in a little league park. Routine pop up anywhere else

****ing Knebel
way to completely implode again
Might be time to DFA his ass
so much for bullpen being a position of strength. Albers and Knebel forgot how to throw.
Just keep serving up the meatballs
these guys making San Diego look like the ‘27 Yankees
Jeffress threw 14 pitches during a scoreless 8th. Knebel pitched last night. Why take Jeffress out to begin with?
That was underwhelming.
First of all, stop using a traditional closer role
Maybe Stearns can trade for a few more relievers.
The wheels have fallen off Knebel
closers are like kickers -when they lose it they lose it
A sweep was there and we made it almost a 180 sweep. Knebel is toxic and Counsell knows it along with all of baseball.
