Now, win out and let STL take care of CHI.

There is no joy in St. Louis,
The Cardinals are a full game out.
Playoff bound! And so gratifying to do it on the home turf of the cardinals. A small amount of payback for the many times they have crushed the Brewer’s dreams.
Hot Damn.
I've been a Brewer fan since 1970.
5 Play-offs in 48 years.
I deserve this.
I now hate the fukking Cardinals slightly less. Please go sweep the Cubs.
I'm so old...
We (me and my brothers) sat in the left field extension (anybody?)
And watched this guy...
We'd sing , "Dan-eeeee Walt-on, Tom-eeeee Har-per!
Go Brewers Go.
My God the Pirates are a pain in the ass.... and I love it!! They tie up the Cubs 6-6 in the 9th... come on Pitt, find a way to get the Crew in 1st by the end of the night.
Well they tried... Pittsburgh gets one more crack tomorrow before the Cards come to town to try to spoil the party.

For the first time in my life I really felt that my favorite club had the upper hand. Lineout double plays, tripping over themselves, dropped fly balls that didn't hurt and getting effing Molina out!
That being said, I want no part of them in the playoffs.
And then there is this:

I'm so old I was at Robin Yount's first game at County Stadium.
mrtundra posted:Being able to watch the Brewers on TV, when they are scheduled to be aired, is just as frustrating as trying to watch the Packers, here in western Wisconsin. The Brewers are supposed to be on ESPN at 6:00CST tonight, but they are not because the 15.5 games back, not getting to the post season, Twins play tonight and their game will be aired. This cable exclusivity s*** has to end. Nobody wants to watch the floundering Twins when the Brewers are playing to get into the post season and to get into 1st place, tonight, in the NL Central. Thank heaven for the Brewers Radio Network and Bob Uecker and friends! GO BREWERS!

Find the thread that has the brewers in it when they play. You'll never miss another game.
Yount, Molitor, Sal Bando, Cecil Cooper, Buck Martinez, Sixto Lescano, Gorman Thomas, Ben Oglivie. Mike Caldwell on the mound.
Sound about right?

As was I, if I recall correctly there were streakers in the outfield.

It wasn't me.

I can remember hearing about Yount when he first got the Brewers but I didnt see him in person until a few years later. Can that really be over 40 years ago? damn.
Oh and I am rooting for the Cubs this weekend. Nothing would make me happier to see the Cardinals knocked out of the playoffs especially because I want no part of them in the post season.

My dad took me to "the" 1st Brewer game at County Stadium. Wore my Seattle Pilots hat.
Great memory. Been to a zillion since.
I remember the Braves when they were the Milwaukee Braves. In 1966 they moved to Atlanta. Sniff, sniff ...........
Still pissed they left.
But I really love my Crew!
My first game at County Stadium was in the early 70's. The Brewers played the California Angels. On the mound that night was a young Nolan Ryan. I remember when Bob Uecker was teamed up with Merle Harmon back in the day.
stiffler posted:Mr. Tundra, don't you get fox sports Wisconsin? I'm pretty darn close to Minnesota and still get it.
No we do not get Fox Sports Wisconsin. My cable company is Comcast/Xfinity out of the Twin Cities and they do not have FSW in their line up. If I lived about a mile east of where I do now, I could have Baldwin Telecom as my cable provider and could get all the Wisconsin sports teams broadcasts. Such is life.
antooo posted:Try the Fox Sports go app. It gets you FOX Sports, FS1, FS2,and the FOX Sports Regional Network. Although, where you live that may be Fox Sports Minnesota rather than Wisconsin.
I think the Fox affiliate offered in the Fox Sports GO app for me would be Fox Sports North, which is all Minnesota programming.
