I re-watched the Packers/Niners game on NFL rewind last night. Noticed a few things.

- It was actually a good game. 4th quarter, Packers scored a TD and got the 2 pt conversion, held Niners to a 3 & out and got the ball down 22-15 with about 9 mins left. Then Rodgers threw probably the worst interception I've ever seen him throw to Bowmann and the next play was that romp by Gore for the TD, which made it 30-15. Packers scored again really quickly to make it 30-22 with about 6 mins left. Niners got a few first downs and by the time the Packers got the ball back there was under 2 mins, no timeouts, time just ran out.

- Jarrett Bush played. A lot. No Hayward and very little McMillian

- Referees were terrible. For both teams. They missed a crucial face mask on Rodgers on the Packers final drive which would've given them 1st and 10 at the niners 35 with about 1 min left.

- Nick Perry was in coverage 6 times and gave up 6 catches. He was covering Manningham on a few plays, which is just unreal.

- Cobb was incredible. Punt return was awesome and he caught everything that went his way. Played out of the backfield a lot and caught some crucial third downs conversions.

- On the other hand, Finley dropped just about everything he touched.

That 1st game of the year was one of the 2 games Finley played ok. He at least caught a TD. He didn't get his 2nd TD until this past Sunday

Bush playing DB is complete garbage & it's obvious the coaches now realize it, no matter how good of a teammate he is or how well he studies film all week.

He is an emergency replacement player only as a DB. If we have 9 DB's, he's #10.

He's excellent on ST's. That's his niche

As for the 49ers, they really are an impressive team. They can be had though as the Vikings, Giants, and Rams have proven. It will be interesting to see if Kaepernick is the final piece they really needed. He looked like he might be the other night, but there's a lot of football left to be played. Game on!!!
