The Packers won 4 straight NFC North Titles between 2011 and 2014 before being edged out for the crown by the Vikes last night. (They were a wild card team when they won it all after the 2010 season).

While just 3-3  against the NFC North this season, between 2011-2014, the Pack went an amazing 7-1-1 (including a playoff game) against the Vikes (coached by Leslie Frazier and then last season by Mike Zimmer), 7-1 against the Bears (coached for 2 years by Lovie Smith and for 2 years by Marc Trestman), and 6-2 against the Lions (coached by Jim Swartz and last year by Jim Caldwell). Notably, they even managed to win the Division with an 8-7-1 record when Aaron Rodgers missed 7 games due to injury in 2013.

Furthermore, the Pack won 2 home playoff games during this period of time, in 2012 (against the Joe Webb-quarterbacked Vikings) and last season (against the hated Dallas Cowboys).

2011-2014 was a great run, right?

I just wish that it ended by someone being lights out good and beating us at our best.

Yeah, every utterance of "the Vikings have caught up to the Packers" leading up to and following this game really should be corrected to "the Packers fell back to the Vikings." But I won't hold my breath for any asterisks on the banner that's sure to mark this historic occasion at the new stadium.

It was a good run.  I think they may have another run in them if the right tweaks are made and some holdovers can come back healthy.

These last 10 games were enough to definitely shake your faith a bit in the Pack's leadership and decision making processes, but there's still enough talent to build on that the ship can be righted.  I don't think large overhauls of coaching and players are needed, but there will need to be some significant tweaks.
