Hey all,
First of all, WOW!! What a terrific and enjoyable evening!! This was a Packer invasion at Mile High and what a loud, raucus and terrific fan base we have! Here are some observations from the game, and a few pictures as well:
-- From the moment we drove up to the parking lot we knew we'd have a large number of Packer fans around us. Cheese Heads, Packer flags and lots of green and gold. And tons of Packer signs at the stadium! It was awesome! (see pics)
-- We were prepared to BOO Walker, but never saw him even on the sidelines! Did See Brett chatting it up with Bates! (See pic)
-- We got the reverse "INN-COMM-PLEEET" chant going in our section. That was a lot of fun and really bugged the bronco fans around us
-- The highlight of the evening? Where do I start? How about Jenkins asking for more crowd noise (with 2 mins in the 4th quarter) and the Packer faithful delivering with a loud and sustained roar? How about those two long bombs to #85 and #89? And the running game!
-- Did I mention the constant "Go-Pack-Go" chants -- chants that grew louder as the game ended, and continued till well after... The word "awesome" does not even begin to describe the shear euphoria!
-- Anyone notice Jay Cutler standing by himself during the final 2 minutes (during a time-out as they made their final drive)? That was crazy...why not huddle with the team.
-- Brett seemed to be enjoying himself, laughing and talking it up on many occasions
-- MM3 seemed very animated with the refs at many times...he also seemed to trot onto the field almost 20 yards to chat with his QB during timeouts!
-- Wow! What a team we have...and what a terrific group of fans!
Here's the packfanincolorado clan (minus PackRabb who went off with a friend to a different section:
