Rodgers is a system QB.
Brees should have won 2 or 3 MVP's by now.
The AP have their heads up their arses.
The AP selected the MVP before the season based on who they like.

Love some of the things I'm hearing.

I saw you straightened out the Saints fans. Good job! the hatred toward Rodges on that board is Viking-esque. And the only reason I can see is because he gets the attention over their star QB. They just ignore the whoe package and season Rodgers had based on Brees padding his stats in the last month.

I saw you chiming in a few times, too, Floridarob Wink Well done.

There's a hell of a lot of good posters there, and that's a hell of a great forum. I've been a pretty infrequent poster, but a voracious reader, for 10 + years.

But the recent Aaron Rodgers bashing has gone too far. Brees had a great season, a historical season, but Aaron was better...and might have just put together the best season EVER by a QB. It's simple statistics. Better passer rating (best ever), first QB with 4,000 yards passing to average 9 + yards per pass, highest TD % in the NFL, better interception % (second only behind only Alex Smith, who didn't throw half the TD's that Aaron did), best TD to int ratio.

I enjoy a spirited debate, and I like the Saints. But while I'm not looking to change the minds of Saints fans, I feel they need to see the numbers they might have overlooked.
