built in excuse for losing.

I have no problem with there being a standard, and some semblence of work must be done on behalf of the student to get in, but for a kid like Stevenson who wanted to be a Badger, worked hard to get into college, and now has to go to Nebraska to put himself in position to get a good job, that is certainly something the university needs to look at.

Tshmack,  You are correct Michigan is a great school and you are right again that they don't let 4-5 star recruits get away from them.  I can understand that UW wants higher standards but it isn't like they would lower them to the point that they would become the "U"

Recruits want to come there and if they meet NCAA guidelines I say let them in.

ordan Stevenson, a much ballyhooed running back recruit who arrived to the Nebraska fall camp just before fall camp began, is already gone.

An NU spokesman confirmed the true freshman from Dallas, Texas, has quit the team. Offensive tackle Matt Finnin has also moved on from the program, according to the spokesman.

"With all (due) respect to the school and fans to Nebraska I wanna say thank you for everything but I will be pursuing a career elsewhere #GBR," Stevenson tweeted soon after the news became official.
