Former Green Bay Packers fullback John Kuhn has been cut as host of the "Nine 2 Noon" show on Milwaukee's WRNW-FM (97.3), the sports-talk radio station better known as The Game.

Kuhn, a fan favorite during his 2007-'15 tenure with the team, disclosed his revised job status in a string of posts on X Monday afternoon.

"Today I was notified that I am being relieved of my duties with @TheGameMKE and @iHeartMedia," Kuhn posted less than two hours after his 9 a.m. to noon show aired on The Game. "I want to thank Jeff Tyler and Tim Scott for giving me the opportunity to grow as an on air talent. I will always be grateful for your belief in me. …

"I’ve been cut before (5 times in fact) and some of the best of me came after those cuts. Just like the Packers on the bye (week), it is time for some reflection and self scouting and I WILL be better on the other side. Here’s one last thank you to all of you!"

Kuhn started hosting "Nine 2 Noon With John Kuhn" in May 2020, during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic. Before joining The Game, Kuhn had done digital and broadcast reports for the Packers and during Green Bay games on WTMJ-AM (620).

WTMJ-AM had been the home of Packers game broadcasts from 1922 to 2021. WRNW landed the rights starting with the 2022 season.

Kuhn is still listed as the sideline reporter for Packers games on the Packers' website. The broadcasters for Packers games are employed by the team.

I listen to that show when I drive thru La Crosse in the mornings.  It's on ESPN 105.5  I really liked it.  Brian Butch used to be on it too but I don't know the circumstances of why he left.  Guess I will find something new now.  Bill Michaels maybe on WKTY  96.7.
