Makes me think of Andrew Brandt's article on how NFL players struggle once their career is over. I love Green, but someone needs to talk some sense to him that no NFL team will give a chance to a 35 year old player who hasn't been in the league in three years and who didn't exactly light it up the last few years he was in the league. He did not top 300 yards rushing since 2006 which was his last 1000 yard season.
Leave the kamikaze squad stuff for the younger guys...

Ahman, stay out. You don't need to take any more hits. You've already helped the Packers enough.

Makes me wonder if he's broke.

And I've got the winning Powerball numbers.
Wow. Denial ain't just a River...
I've pooped my pants and there's nothing you can do about it!

First thought that came to my mind.

At least Ahman didn't blow his fortune on crack, as far as I know.
Bring back Harry Sydney

That is true. But (no pun intended) if you don't want to do anything about it at least open a window or two.
Jason Wilde was discussing on his blog show about his conversation with Ahman at a WI sports show (I can't remember). In that discussion it was always about his return in a media type role and not a football player. Mixed messages here.
OT: Jason Wilde was discussing how strange it was that Ahman wanted to come back as a media rep because he was less than available during his playing days. He had no use for the media then. Now he's looking for something to do and he likes the idea. I got the impression that Wilde and side-kick still hold a grudge and would have nothing to do with that. I wonder how pervasive that sentiment is.

@JayGlazer
Got no idea if this is true but if is it's hilarious. Lawrence Taylor & his agent Mark Lepselter were told last night winning bidder for LT's Super Bowl Ring was none other than Charlie Sheen!!!
Per the AP, actor Charlie Sheen bought it.
Fitting.
Fitting.
