From tonight's Bills/Dolphins game, the announcers brought this up. I'm not sure of that new rule of the refs reviewing EVERY scoring play....but....the intentional grounding call that gave the 2-points (safety) to the Dolphins wasn't reviewed by the referees. Granted, they did convene to discuss, but the play was not reviewed by the booth.
Why wasn't the play reviewed up in the booth? It was a scoring play AND also could be considered "change of possession".
