Missed the first half hour of it. Really enjoyed the last half hour.
High hopes for this season....and greedy for another. But damn hard to believe a better ride than last year is in store.

The maturity level difference demonstrated by 24 in Oakland and 21 in Green Bay was striking. Didn't even seem like the same guy.
The drop to draft pick 24 (into TT's lap) may have been the best thing that happened to AR. As he put it, "humble pie".

They couldn't. It was a huge part of the validation of the Super Bowl win.
If they repeat, THEN I agree no Favre. Also agree about using Driver & Raji maybe Matthews with some speaking time instead of just his hair flip.

They had it after the Bears win after the NFC CG. Did you miss it?
After we got in the playoffs & beat the Eagles, I felt great. But the biggest surprise was the thrashing they put on the #1 seeded Falcons in their house.
They made the loud statement to the rest of the NFL and I assure you all the teams left in the playoffs (except maybe the Jets

Beating the Falcons. Statement game. Signature win!
Going to watch it again tonight before kickoff.
At the start there was a nice piece about the empty picture frame in the meeting room.
Towards the end as the camera slowly zoomed in to show the 2010 Championship Picture, it looked like just off to the right of it, was an empty picture frame.

That was mentioned on ESPN the other day. McCarthy had the first frame installed many years ago as a motivational piece for the team, hoping that seeing the empty frame would make the guys hungrier for a championship. Once they did, he had the second one installed during the offseason.

I don't think this can be overstated.
Just watched the NFLN repeat. Something jumped out at me... at the very end, they show a picture of each of the presenters (MM, Rodgers, Woodson) and a little blurb on screen about them.
Rodgers' reads:
Aaron Rodgers and Bart Starr are the only Green Bay Packer quarterbacks to be named Super Bowl MVP. {emphasis added}
Zing!

What, is your Betamax on the fritz? Maybe you and Goldie can get together for one of the many replays.
I agree about this was one of the greatest pass completions I have ever seen as a Packer Fan and the coverage was good, but make no mistake about it Pittsburg's secondary was torched by every good QB they faced in 2010. Doesn't subtract from the moment; in the biggest stage for all the marbles in a crucial contest AR was the steel eyed assassin!

I said as much after the SB win - the SB seemed almost anti-climactic after beating the Bears in the NFCCG. I was high for a month after that. The SB win only really sank in after Tramon knocked away that last pass. 2010 will be a lot more fun than 96 to re-watch for years to come. Hollywood script.

*slightly* disappointed that the show glossed over that play a little too quickly. Unbelievable play by Tray. What a run he had in those last 16 quarters.
When Tramon knocked that pass away I won $360.00!

Completely agree. In my view the Packers won 2 Superbowls last year!!!!!

I'm with ya. I won $850.00
I loved the sequence about Rodgers falling in the draft, and him acknowledging that getting knocked down a few pegs was the best thing for him. He's a perfect mix of cocky and humble.
Finally watched it. Something to note about Jennings: when he's talking to the coaches about that play being open in the corner because Polamalu is too late coming over, he says "put anyone back there", he doesn't say "put me back there" when it would have made a lot of sense to. Great example of his nature to be unselfish.
interesting that woodson had clubbed feet. i believe leroy butler had clubbed feet as well if i remember correctly.
