DEC 12 RAMS CUT CROSBY The Los Angeles Rams have cut veteran kicker Mason Crosby from their practice squad, less than a week after his signing, the team announced.
The Rams also made three other roster moves on Tuesday, moving tight end Hunter Long and long snapper Alex Ward to injured reserve, and signing long snapper Carson Tinker.
Long was lost for the season with a knee injury in the Rams Sunday loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

I'm saying if he had made all the FG it would have been 25 or 26 if they had kicked the PAT instead of going for 2. Giants would have needed a TD to win. Not that I'm sure Joe Blow would have stopped them but it would have been a better deal than a chip shot FG.

Former Green Bay Packers placekicker Mason Crosby has not spent any time in the NFL this year other than a cup of coffee with the Los Angeles Rams. But he might get his chance this weekend.
According to NFL insider Mike Garafolo, Crosby is set to sign with the New York Giants as a practice squad player. However, Crosby will be elevated to the active roster for their Christmas Day game against the Philadelphia Eagles following an injury to starting kicker Cade York.
