I'm going to miss him & I thank him for his commitment to our team while he was here.

I hope he goes to the AFC so I can root for him

He would pair nicely with AJ Green IN Cincinnati Smiler
He will. The Vikings have the room and they live for the opportunity to sign former Packers. They probably think that a guy like Jennings paired with Harvin will finally make Ponder look like an NFL QB, too. Hoping he goes to Miami or some other AFC team, but I'd guess he'd really relish the thought of playing the Packers after they didn't want him.

More cash in the bank and warmer weather will quickly quash any revenge fantasies. Minny or South Beach? Hmmm.

I work with a guy who has some pretty tight connections (his brother has some access) to the Queens. This isn't Packer Chatters, and I'm not trying to say this is what will happen, just what he says some of the brass are saying in Queenland.

He says that the Queens are going to address WR in free agency (surprise, surprise) and that Mike Wallace is higher on the list than GJ. He also says that they will be looking to move up in Rd 1 for one of the UGA LB's.

Who knows???? We'll see....

Spielman so far has stated wanting to build and develop through the draft, ala Pittburgh, New England and Green Bay while only going after young guys at bargains or vets a super bargains. The rubes were pretty mad he didn't get Garcon or Jackson last offseason but I'm not sure they'll break protocol this year.

As for moving up in round 1, again, I doubt it. The'll never get high enough for Jones and I'm not sure Ogletree is worth going up for as far as they may have to. They have too many needs with at least two LBs, a DE, a DT, saf
To me, I don't get the moving up in RD 1, because, I'm with you, they'll have to give up too much. Having said that, I think it's very likely that they will try and address WR again in FA.

I was hesitant to even post this. Confused

The real Miami

That's actually the bronx.

Wallace makes more sense for MIN at this point. IF Harvin returns, they have their slot guy. So having a deep threat to take the top off the D would help much. However MIN is so vacant at WR that they would do well to get either guy.
There is NO WAY HArvin is back with the team. He quit on the team last year, I don't think they can bring him back, and was going to hold out over $$. There are some rubes that think they might make a run at Fitzgerald to AZ for Harvin and picks, $$, etc. Their thinking is that it helps AZ out, since they are lost and gives them cap room, as well as helping MN out by getting a WR to pair with AP.

So let me see if I have this right....Larry Fitzgerald is playng in Az with no QB that can complete a pass and is making huge money. He is arguably the best WR in football and is dying to catch more passes. Why on earth would he go along with a deal that sends him to the Vikes, a team that does have a better QB but is going to ground and pound. I see him fighting any move that does not send him to a passing team and demanding that his team get a NFL quality qb.

Vikes fans are famous for thinking that every Mn native can't wait to come home. As usual they are wrong.

I believe Larry F just signed a huge contract. He isn't going anywhere otherwise AZ would've never signed him to that deal.

Wallace makes sense for Minnesota as does Jennings.

I will have no hard feelings if Jennings signs with Minnesota. Hope he doesn't though. I'm afraid he'll torch Tramon Smiler
