Another good article about Woodson and Green Bay life

Why would a guy like Jennings not want to be in GB at first? He's a small town kid from the upper midwest. Family orientated and really grounded. You'd think GB would be near the top of his list. Glad he turned it around.

I hope the Packers keep Charles in the fold after he's done playing. He's a very respected guy in the leaugue. It's amazing how he's gone from a "me" guy in Oakland to the guy the team looks up to. He helped Green Bay but it's pretty obvious Green Bay helped him.

When Woodson first got to GB I & my son went up for a practice or two. They were all lined up and started with calisthenics. Woodson did not do what everyone else did. When I pointed that out to my son, he said that Woodson could "pretty much do whatever he wanted". My son thought that much of Woodson then. And I thought he was anything but washed up after watching him. Thank you CW for coming!

I wonder how many calls TT to him made before he agreed to a visit. And I wonder if I would have given up sooner. That is what makes TT special and made for GB.

When we got Woodson, my first reaction was, Are you kidding me? He is definitely not a good fit for Green Bay! He's old, he's slow, and he was a bad-guy Raider.

Glad to be wrong, but dang, there goes my hope for a position at 1265 Lombardi!

Maybe it was last year or the year before I heard Jennings make a comment about his desire to maybe play in a bigger market like Miami. But then he signed his contract extension and now it appears those thoughts of moving on are gone for now.
