We may have witnessed the start of ANOTHER Green Bay Packer Dynasty in the NFL.
This is a great team, and the second youngest in the NFL. Think about it...a possible Dynasty in the making. I know all about the Super Bowl hangover, but it is VERY possible we'll be feeling this way again in 365 days. Either way, REJOICE PACKER FANS!!!

When you consider that of the 15 + injured reserve players include several guys who will win their starting job back next year (Finley, Grant, maybe Neal) and the depth represented by the other 15, they are in position to contend for awhile. Given this year, can't even use the disclaimer "given injuries", because that was disproven this year.

Add Morgan Burnett, Brad Jones, and a few draft picks....wow!
I don't know about Barnett but I DO know we don't need 8 more rookies on this squad. What we need is a big trade up to grab a guy to play opposite ClayIII and a top receiver who can hang onto the damned ball. A good blocking LG would help also. I fully expect the Pack to be in SB XLVI.
The Packers also had to finish their Championship run without an additional 4 players that were not on IR, Woodson, DD, Shields, and Walden. It is amazing what this team was able to do with all of the injuries that it has had. When Woodson and Shields went down I thought that the Super Bowl was going to turn into the game they played against the Steelers last year, and it almost did, but they defense was able to come up big and make a stop when it needed to. What an incredible team and season.

Still don't get it, do you? Look at the impact of guys like Starks and Shields and stop with the Sherman approach to team building.
Too soon to talk of dynasty. No CBA, the media and overblown glory that can suck the character and togetherness right out of a team, and lots of things that can get in the way. We win another one next year and then let's talk again. Until then, I'll enjoy this one and savor it because it was so darn unexpected back when guys were dropping like flies.

Draft picks are a good thing to have in later years. Ask the Patriots.

LT would be the one area I could see TT trading up to get.

Don't need to reach.

Clifton was a 2nd round pick....John Micheals was supposed to be a 10 year stud LT.
Left tackle will be important, but that may end up being Bulaga, with Newhouse taking over the right side.

What can make this team even more dangerous is a superior special teams unit, especially kick returners. It would be nice to start a drive past the 25 yard line.
Roger Saffold was the #33 pick in the draft in 2010 and looks to be good player. He's playing LT for the Rams.

The Packers are very high on Newhouse. I would like to see what Lang can do yet. I think McDonald may get a shot at LG come next season.

The Packers may need a WR especially one like the kid from Maryland because of his ability to return kicks. He's also a big receiver with soft hands.

The Packers probably have to move a LB such as Tweety. Chillar is making 4/5 million.

The Packers also have to think about showcasing Flynn at some point.
It sure would be nice to see them add another quality OL or two. While Clifton was solid this year he's not getting any younger, and I'd be great to get another physical guard opposite Josh Sitton.

With the emergence of Starks I would be good with Grant/Starks/Jackson as their RB group. That saves another pick for them.

Peprah came out of nowhere to start at safety, and right now it's hard to argue they should give up his spot for the rookie (Burnett).

The DL is loaded right now and lots of LBs to talk about.

This is the beauty of TT. The guy is so damn locked in on the draft that he'll be sure to upgrade some spots.
