Any word on the poor footing of the playing surface?

well....the NFL did a terrible job matching turf....that swath through the middle of the field was a diferent texture and design and it looked like a quilt out there...

I think it'll be a long time before the NFL comes back to Dallas with a Super Bowl....

how many slipped,1 or 2?
maybe they had faulty shoes or were just clumsy.

I noticed way more than 1 or 2. And I'm not blaming it for anything, even Roethlisbergers left foot slipped on a throw.

I don't blame Jerry; the NFL prepped the field.

but....I've never seen that many players slipping and sliding on an indoor stadium turf...that's all...

and...it was more than one or two players...

BTW...any word on why the crappy quilt patch job in the center off the field and around the 20 yard line?

Yes you did win there, and why would you want to bash the place of your win?
it is up to the equipment manager to get the right shoes for the playing surface, so fire him.

you are missing the point....I'm not bashing the Cowboys...although that's not a bad idea....

I'm bashing the field...

not just the poor playing surface, either....although, if you watched a lot of Cowboy games this year, you would realize that the slipping/sliding has happened all year...why?...did Jerry build the stadium over a sewage dump or something?

Also, the NFL did a crappy job of patching in the logo...it really looked like 4 different turf areas....endzone to the 22.5 yard line....then five yards of crappy looking turf...then another 12.5 yards to the 40 yard line...where you saw 20 yards of another crappy looking turf....and repeat ad nauseam...

if you look closely, it's a different turn....

why couldn't the NFL just bring in a completely new turf for the entire Super Bowl...it would've cost...what? maybe 2 million....whoopee...

but the field did not look good....

that's all I'm saying...

yes, I'm happy the Packers won...but, the field still sucked

I assume the field was matted down from all the halftime stuff and rehearsals for it. All that equipment pushes it down.

You'll notice, all the guys slipping were wearing "flats" not the molded shoes. Flats don't work on that stuff when it's matted down.
