First off Tit, good job.  Second question, the blog feature here seems like it would be a perfect fit.  Also a great reference for the future.  x4 could become a great repository for Packer info with accompanying derposity.

Just throwing it out there with all the new bells and whistles we have.  Thoughts?

I did notice the links from Twitter and Vine take a bit to load and I've got billy bad ass interwebs.

You must have a billier, badder-ass interweb than I've got because NO MATTER WHAT BROWSER I TRY (that's bolded and in all-caps so that Boris won't bitch about my using Opera ), the script to force Twitter's view on us takes up every last bit of memory.

The text shows up fine; it's converting that to the white background and the font Twitter thinks we should use that's the problem.  I don't see why a page that's got 10MB of inline elements needs over half a gig of RAM and page file usage.

(Actually, most so-called "social networking" stuff seems to be anti-social in that it wants to hog all the RAM for itself.)

Tried a blog post without the embedded media and it was the same deal.  Think I'll go back to the old way of doing things.

Reminds me of how NFL.com is worse and worse with each new version?  I don't even bother going there anymore.   Packers.com video used to be much cleaner as well.  Blame Danny Snyder, he's the one who runs their internet ventures.

Yup me too on the slower load times for that day 3 thread & if I'm slow I'm certain everyone else is, I don't care if you have an OC-768 connection to the net.

All good though titm. It's a learning experience for everyone.

FYI, titm, you're a featured member on the blog so feel free to use it & experiment with it. That's what it is there for. You too Henry
