I am 53 years old and still wear a Packer shirt every Friday to work, casual Fridays. On the weekends what use to be a 15 jersey turned into a 4 jersey that is now a 12 jersey. Hell with anyone that tells me I am too old to wear a Packer jersey. When I die I better have a 15 jersey on and my family knows it. This team has been a part of me since I can remember, and am proud to be an owner. I have never lived in Wisconsin but the Green and Gold runs in my blood.

Black dudes make anything look cool. Bully for you.

That said, I don't wear jerseys except on gameday. Not because I think they look stupid, but I'm a bit of a messy marvin when it comes to eating so I'm always afraid of spilling something on my jersey.

My Packers thong on the other hand, totally different story!

about what I wear? If it is on my time and my dime, I wear whatever I want. I don't care whatsoever what you think about my attire.

You can go ahead and be the clothes police all you want. You are welcome to watch re-runs of "what not to wear" with my wife. She has horrible opinions about football also.
After I became older than most of the players I started collecting old man jerseys. Nitschke, Starr... I do own a Rodgers and Matthews jersey that I pull out at times, but Nitschke is my go-to. Wear to all the games, during the Super Bowl and last week vs. MN, and I'm undefeated with it. Not sure what jersey I'll wear this Saturday. Don't want to wear out the Nitschke. Will probably go with Starr. We lost to the Giants last year when I wore the Matthews jersey.

I have one. Big Grin (Well, it has a red stripe in it too)

Haggis is offal (but actually not bad), bow ties are cool and Jerseys are okay if you like them, though I think any adult should have a personalized one instead of a player's name on it. If I'm older than the player, I wouldn't be wearing his jersey (which I think is everyone in the league now).

Pics please.

Fedya thinking about my junk again?

Personally, I have never purchased a jersey, but my wife likes to buy them. I wear my Packers jerseys about 3 times a year and my Tottenham Hotspur one about 10 times a year. The "Spurs" one is so much cooler looking, IMO.

This:

Is Better looking than this:

NFL jerseys are expensive. Even the knockoffs are overpriced. The ones at the Packer Pro shop are extremely overpriced. If you have bought and worn one, then you obviously care about what other people think - unless maybe you're delusional and believe that you're actually on the team.

But if you're wearing a replica jersey, the odds are that you're wearing it around other people who would also be open to wearing one - and you probably only care what they think.

It's pretty much the same as the adult Star Trek fan that buys a replica uniform to wear to scifi conventions. Most of the world thinks they look ridiculous, but among their group it's perfectly acceptable. Non Star Trek fans think they look like nerds - just like non NFL fans think an adult man in his Packers jersey looks like a man-child.

Obviously it's okay to wear anything you want, but unless you dress in nothing but moomoos and sweatpants, you probably do care what other people think. just, maybe, not what ALL people think.
