I listened to most of it today and I have to say: AR seems REALLY jovial and relaxed about the last game. I'm not expecting a meltdown of any kind but he sounds like a guy coming off of a win. I've heard a few other TWAR's after losses and you can tell he's either a bit short or less than thrilled to be there.

Was this game supposed to be a "fake" to some degree where not all hands were played by the O or the D? It can sound like a rediculous suggestion but ARZ did a similar thing in 09 in the last game of the regular season, knowing they were going to see us again the following week. They looked like a completely different team in that PO game.

Just wondering...

Rodgers complimented Finley a lot.

He has been saying a lot of good things about how they're meeting and such, but I'd think Rodgers has to be getting tired of having to answer questions about their relationship, especially since no one questions (to the same extent) how he gets along with the rest of the team.

I'd bet Finley is gone next year, regardless of how he performs the rest of this season.

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers said his relationship with TE Jermichael Finley is good, even though their relationship continues to draw scrutiny. The two have been meeting each Saturday night before games to go over the offensive game plan and discuss nuances of certain plays. "With Jermichael, I think it's been about getting on the same page and spending some time together," Rodgers said. "And I think the thing I appreciate about him over the last three or four weeks is just how he really has been a good teammate. I think he really has. He cares about his guys; he's been intentional about spending time with me and wanting to make sure we're on the same page. And I think it's helped. I really do think it's helped."

He's always talking about Finley because the media constantly asks questions regarding him. I was impressed with Finley's effort vs the Giants and I hope he gets more looks.
I agree about Finley probably being high maintenance, but I also think Rodgers realizes that Finley might still be the key to winning a couple of big games and hasn't given up on him. I more wonder if MM has given up on him as a game changer. Don't confuse me as someone who thinks Finley has given anybody a reason to think differently, but if he could stop dropping passes, falling down, etc. and show some of the potential he showed 3 years ago, teams would have to play the Packers different. The Giants game is case on point. Those safeties can't both be playing high and wide if Finely was ripping them down the seam.

He's always being asked questions about Finley because Finley's stupid ass is always running his suck about his "relationship" with the quarterback.
