Way over. This game could be 31-0 and he'll go orgasmic over a 3rd down conversion.

I like him in a close game that deserves the excitement. Not blowouts where he tries to manufacture the excitement
Iowa has two first downs. Michigan defense is underachieving.
Iowa is always a step slow on O. It is very evident.
Michigan may end up ranked #1 after tonight but it will get its ass kicked by whoever they play in round 1 of the CFP, unless by some fluke Florida State gets in.
Iowa defense is so much fun to watch.
That should do it. Iowa probably wouldn't score 17 points if they played 180 minutes against Michigan.
Deacon Hill just threw 2 passes for 20 yards. An offensive explosion.

They wouldn’t score 3.
Will Hill be in the next draft? Thinking top 3 QB.
Nick Saban and Kirby Smart are probably watching Iowa right now thinking Iowa wouldn't win 4 games in the SEC and this is who Michigan has to beat to get in?
Michigan, Washington, Florida State and Georgia or Alabama or Texas. Who you got? Alabama for me.

You can't take Alabama over Texas when Texas beat Alabama head to head this year in Tuscaloosa.
Texas: They beat Alabama who beat Georgia.
But isn't the SEC a tougher conference than the Big 12?

I think the 4 best teams (certainly in terms of future NFL talent) are probably Georgia, Alabama, Ohio State, and Michigan and only Michigan is going to get in.
Georgia has won 2 national titles in a row and 29 games in a row until today. They lost by 4 in a game where the officials blew a call that lead to an Alabama TD in the first half.
But they have no chance of getting in.
Iowa has run 4 plays in Michigan territory tonight and two of them were on 4th down failures. They haven't crossed the Michigan 44 tonight.
Michigan's last 5 scoring drives have all been for less than 30 yards.

I didn't ask who has the most pro talent, I asked isn't the SEC a tougher conference than the Big 12. If so then one of the SEC schools should be in.

they beat ohio state to get in. the iowa game was a formality
Iowa has as good of a defense as any team in college football. Special teams are also really good.
But Deacon Hill has to be literally the worst QB of any major conference team in the country. He makes Mike Samuel look like Drake Maye.
As for the playoff, well someone will get screwed. I don’t see a scenario where Alabama and Georgia both make it and it’s possible Ohio State gets left out as well. That’s a bunch of crap. Florida State has no business being considered but if they make it in it’s likely two of those three teams mentioned won’t because of Texas. Then there’s Washington that had a ton of close victories but I question just how good the PAC 2 really is.
To me, the 4 best teams at Michigan, Ohio State, Georgia and Bama.
FSU gets to play what will likely be a pissed off Georgia team in the Orange Bowl. The Seminoles AD can complain all he wants but good luck with that.
FSU has a legitimate right to be pissed. Results on the field are what should matter. We can look at the SEC and say that it's a better conference, but is it? What evidence this year supports that? Alabama played one out of conference game against a power 5 opponent and lost. Georgia's best OOC win came against mighty Georgia Tech. Who from the SEC won a big OOC game? We can look at Bama and Georgia and say that they are better, but why aren't they penalized for not scheduling tougher opponents? FSU beat two SEC teams out of conference and should be in based on on-field performance over perception.
I’m not quite sure why you all insist on arguing about this. First of all, designating 4 teams means someone is going to get screwed. That gets rectified next year. Secondly, this shit needs to be put in writing. This process is so not transparent.
I think that we insist on arguing because this is a message board and the Packers don't play until tonight.
In the meantime it looks as though Bucky gets LSU in the Reliaquest (old Outback) bowl.

Does it really matter if you go with 4, 8 or 12 teams. If you go with 8 the #( team will be pissed. If you go with 12 the #13 team will be pissed. If you went with 124 teams the #125 will be pissed.

Yes, but the #9 team is highly unlikely to win the big one. IMO, playoffs work best when you allow 1 or 2 teams in who don’t really have a chance. That way, everyone who deserves to get in actually gets the chance.
I guess I should have posted a smiley emoji???
